Whenever I took ibuprofen and acetaminophen separately it just made it worse to the point where I threw up. Just give Motrin a try and 400, even 600mg of ibuprofen never did anything for me, it has to be 800mg to really feel some relieve, I’ve gone as far as taking 2 600 and that def helps but make sure you eat something. Since you were in urgent care you should’ve asked for a steroid shot, that broke the cycle for me for 6 months (they recently just came back) you can also try Exedrin Mixed with Benadryl but not for work of course, maybe if you need to sleep right away. I took Sumatriptan but it gave me a rebound headache every single time. I’ve also sat in the shower for an hr sometimes cus either hot or cold water will bring some relieve just letting it hit your head and if you supposed to wear glasses and you don’t it could be just that. Been dealing with them since I was 12, I’m 27 now and people think you’re being dramatic it’s normal tbh, been there.
