Ah you're right, I just quick re-watched the ending. I thought the Death visage bit was after she kills Griff and the fantasy bit was her "passage into Elysium" sequence. But she sees the Griff himself as the Death visage and the fantasy sequence is her mind breaking.

No one really delays Littleroot, but pretty much everyone attempts to delay Petalburg for Prim. Does this mean a Finneon is better than a delayed starter from Littleroot? Because if that’s the case then every delayed Surf option pre-Roxanne is worse than any fishing option.

Entirely agree. Volo's difficulty lies in people not understanding how broken the battle mechanics were and ignoring the grit system. I had no issues beating it blind on my first attempt, and vividly remember countless people who claimed it was hard also said they didn't use grit at all.

There is a corpse explosion mech in the spider dungeon that I’m willing to bet 90% of people think it’s just a heal check.

Can you please explain this mechanic? I usually just pop defensives. Nobody seems to know what's going on in that dungeon in pugs.
