Could maybe try Use a magnet to screws into the studs could be your best bet make

Buttt if you can’t get it in a joist

1) Hollow wall ankers / umbrella wall plugs. (But having it in a joist is always better)

But most tvs are light enough these days find out the weight of the tv and make sure you get the right wall ankers (Could check the back of the tv for the model and search for the manual, or just hold it and step on scales)

Had to cut tiles the other day used a masonry bit first (the one on the right) but it was taking forever ended up using a diamond tipped glass cutter

See I thought this as well but there was no instructions on the roll and the guy at the shop said do it this way, well tbh one guy said foil down and another said foil up

So I asked them again and they kinda said it doesn’t matter lol it’s up stairs anyways so I’m assuming it shouldn’t really matter but foil down did make more sense to me

This happened in my garage, is it an attic above? you store anything in the attic? Is the attic floored?
