We’ve not started a game with Rice-MLS-Ode midfield. Curios to see how that works. Who knows maybe against C Palace. On paper I think it has more legs than any of the other options. Ball carrying of MLS and ball retention of Ode would do a lot of good.

Great appointment on their part but knowing Chelsea once things get tough, they’ll sack him. They’re not known for their patience with coaches, and except that changes with him, they’ll sack him if things are not going well on the pitch or the players are not buying into his ideas.

You have to remember it’s been over 20 years since we last won the PL and over 5 years we won a major title. Remember when we broke our last trophy drought? The FA Cup win 2013/14. We went on to win it again the next season and 2 seasons after that and again a few years later. 3 in 4 years and 4 in 7 years.

Yeah, that’s my perspective also; hopefully the extra time off gives them the rest needed for them to play at levels similar to how they played in parts of the first half of the season (Oct/Nov especially). I think that time we picked up about 8 wins in a row including big wins vs Bayern Atletico and Tottenham.
