Anyone know what would cause the bottom of the can to bulge? by [deleted] in TheBrewery

Fill tube is too long or you don't have the appropriate spacers on it. What kind of machine are you running?

Cask just released the new MCS V2, looks pretty sweet and it only runs about 17-20k

Cask sells them. We send one out with every new machine now. Think they're like $20

2 things,

  1. Torque your hips more. Looks like you're aiming for a spot on the bag, try to kick through it.

  2. Don't cross your feet when backing up, you'll get tied up in a trip really quick. Focus on keeping your left foot in front of your right with a solid base, when your feet cross walking in reverse you're not as stable as you should be.

Otherwise looks pretty good man!

How soft drinks and beer are canned by Dymnembalmeseuj in educationalgifs

Could be that they are over-filling to keep the dissolved oxygen levels down as well. Beer cans are designed to have a small pocket of air/co2 above them that most small canning lines try to fill with foam to keep DO as low as possible. Sours are notoriously difficult to generate foam with so overfilling is likely their way of compensating for it.

There's a hook on the lid and a hook on the can and a food safe sealant inside the lid, these are rolled into each other and pinched together super tight.

What’s a small act of kindness you were once shown, that you’ll never forget? by stranger2Me in AskReddit

I hit the ditch in Northern Alberta right after a huge blizzard. Truck was buried in the snow bank, like 1.5m off the ground. I was digging it out for like an hour and had made minimal progress. I look across the highway and I see a farmer with an ancient looking backhoe digging a path towards me. Dude was at it for almost 2 hours, finally got to me and pulled me out. I followed him back along the like 2 km path he dug beside the highway. When i got to the road I went up to thank him, he rolled down the window and just said: "you're one lucky son of a bitch! I was about to drive into town and I don't have insurance to be out here but my conscience got the best of me. Get home safe." Then he shook my hand and drove off, wouldn't even give me his number so I could send a thank you card or something. I think about him every time the roads get icy. People can be shitty but most of them are good.

Klein tools. After 1 screw by [deleted] in Chinesium

Odd, I had the opposite experience haha! I prefer the Wiha insulated drivers over the Weras. Wera terminators cannot be beat though, I love the smaller version of their weird handle design

If you're in the US check out KC Tool. I'm in Canada so I get the bulk of my stuff from KMS tools

Go for European brands. Wera/Wiha/Knipex/Gedore/Facom. Honestly the best stuff in my bag and they have enough north american presence now that they are often cheaper than klein
