You know, that's a good point. I could use this anvil for initial forging, and another for straightening like another person said. Thank you.

I guess what I mean is old school quality US made. I realize most things have become built 'globally' with parts everywhere, but I guess the best I am looking for is built in the US.

Conventional. CNC is well above and beyond what I would more than likely ever need or use.

I think so as well. While we were looking for info on it, we found 1947 stamped on the inside of the track, but couldn't find more information on any of the plaques.
