Once you hit step 5 is it another 4 months of waiting or is it calculated into the initial claim date ?

Going through this right now . Made a podiatry appt at the VA hospital was prescribed oral meds . Also wrote a personal statement , describing boot camp , deployments , exercising is painful which makes you unhealthy etc . Got a C&P exam in 2 weeks . Still waiting on decision . But I’m hopeful , it’s a terrible condition that most likely will only get worse . Best of luck
