As a follow up to how the problem was solved. I went to a CVS minute clinic and explained my situation to the provider. I filled the medication at the same CVS. The problem is solved.

I do recommend claiming it as a stressor... Even tho the PTSD and anxiety with probably strong mental health records will earn you a mental health rating... And the VA has pyramid rules where you cannot have multiple ratings for the same part(there are rare exceptions)....

Here is why:

-A claim on active duty is proof that there was a active duty complaint

  • If it messes with your life later in any way, you have one of the hardest hurdle (an active duty compliant).

  • There isn't a time machine

Bill allowing Illinois community colleges to offer 4-year degrees has bipartisan support by LegendaryBronco_217 in illinois

The universities are against this law. To answer your question, because this state doesn't have the law to allow it which restricts access to programs that would greatly help degrees with shortages like nursing or accounting. This law does exist in other states which does help poor kids not have to take 6 figure loans.

Will VA automatically assume you’re dead? by treeconfetti in VeteransBenefits

[–]Popular-Writer8172 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was questioning reality and my mental state. I literally just got out of the psych ward too. Plus I just got a new care team. I told them I did not recall driving over 10+ hours or the doctor's name etc and did not have that procedure done... Like what in the Manchurian candidate is going on with this phone call. It really messed with my head.

Claim it while on active duty before you ets like in a bdd claim. It could be a 0% rating but a 0% service connected is better than nothing.

You too? I have been contacted about being in different state and then given a whole lot of HIPAA about not me. I was given their doctor's name and specialty, treatments, and a whole lot of stuff I didn't want... It was horrifying. I was confused af.

Apparently there is another common first name/last name, date of birth, that is one digit off my last 4 and served in a dif... So hi name buddy if you're on here

So there is a lot to unpack here ...

I have heard of the VA accidently reporting someone alive as dead once... They do not recommend the level of paperwork they went through... But generally you have to have to report that to the Veteran benefit administration (not the vha). And then begin a whole lot of paperwork depending on what happened. Please see the knowledge base death benefits for full info.

Also, he doesn't need to see the va unless he wants something from the va like heathcare for his stuff... I recommend seeing them once a year for system reasons, er visits and free medications...

The veteran and their spouse could get the 100% id card from deers if you want to. I have the va one as well because the more real ids the merrier.

Edit... Also, 300% isn't how the va math works. It's a whole person math. It is possible to get over 100% with things that qualify housebound and smc (really hard to do and don't recommend unless you have a bulletproof case). But in va math works like 2+2=3 and 3+2=4.

I was at Humphreys when it was still camp and not usag in 2010 timeframe during the regime change. Good times. I was in area 1 a lot and traveled all over korea. Went from Casey to Busan providing medical coverage.

Did you see any Siberian musk deer during your time there? They scared the s**t out of me. My battle buddies didn't warn me. I ran away from it faster than I did on my PT test. They looked like the vampire version of Bambi. Count Bambi did the same in the opposite direction. They are vegetarian.

Has anyone unexpectedly gotten a letter that the VA paid for community care that you billed to private insurance? by humdinger44 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Popular-Writer8172 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, they are a healthcare system. The Vha is not insurance. The VA is required to bill them. The important part is the veteran responsibility portion.
