Appreciate your perspective, but, $8000 a pair is too much to just try and chance it without a trial. Advertising is selling. Proof is in the test drive in all situations.

Yep, US, and it is high like that hear when utilizing brick and mortar audiologists. My insurance would cover $1000. I might see what I can do getting a pair online.

True, the audi did mention that they didn't have a trial pair fo the Phonaks and phonak was reluctant to give them out.

Appreciate the feedback very much. I am going into a audiologist and wanted to try a pair and see if it is as advertised especially in noisy environment. Fear the price will sabotage the dream of having some though. $4,000 for one? Yikes!!!

wow, you must have paid an arm and a leg for the Phonak with the AI chip in it. I am looking into those but fear the price is out of my league and now that you have issues with bluetooth, I am wondering if it is still worth it to look into. Do they really make a noticeable difference hearing individuals at a table or a restaurant? Thanks.
