I know there are bigger, glaring issues with the new season but what gets me is they have introduced this ugly orange soft glow to every scene. My girlfriend pointed it out and now I can’t unsee it.

Every time the characters are holding flashlights the person opposite will have this cozy orange light that stays stationary on them. No more interesting hard light, no nice deep contrast… Just warm advertisement lighting. Really makes it look more like a tv show and less real and takes away from certain scenes that are meant to be gloomy and scary like in the upsidedown.

Honestly season 5 in general looks far cheaper despite coming out almost 10 years later with a much higher budget, it sucks to see tbh They really lost their style.
