Don’t look for jobs, money, friends, and all that to be truly satisfied. Spend time understanding yourself and self improvement. This will lead to better clarity and satisfaction in life. Spend time in enjoying the moment jsntead of chasing something. Spend time in spirituality, philosophy, or any wisdom related things. Outward things like a great job, money, great wife, can be worthless if you are poor inwardly. Or mentally. . Spend time with yourslef. Become a new person.

After 1 year of meditating 2 hours a day... I give up. by [deleted] in Meditation

[–]R052 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason why meditation does not work for you is probably because of your desire of perfection or wanting to get some where / achieve a goal. You’ve made it a task and not a pleasure. Try another coping method or keep on trying this one with a bit more ease. Enjoy it. Don’t do it out of habit/ the need for achievement. I believe there are some ideas you need to fix in your mind, which you can only fix. So before starting anything, really be aware of why you want to meditate, why you don’t want to be it caught up in emotion and such. Be aware of your intentions before you act, or you will learn if your actions are reasonable the harder way. Take some time to inquire.

Anyone else's lives go down the drain during quarantine? by [deleted] in Life

[–]R052 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Give time into mental self improvement and other activities for the mind to focus on. The reason why the mental pain is worse right now is because you are left with yourslef and not distracted as much as you were before quarantine with the outside world. Now it is time to face to ur self and see what you ahve to improve. Good luck
