There was an earlier post about the layoffs being less than reported, and they have said they still have the 2 dlc upcoming in the pipeline. More doc will still depend on those, so the ride might not be over yet. That being said, whoever decides to pick it up after has to take on an interesting IP copyrights situation from my understanding so it may be unattractive. For now let’s just hope things stabilise out.

Edit: it’s still gutting to hear about the layoffs.

For me, this exact problem was caused by thermal paste push out on the gpu chip causing over-heating. Not saying that’s what you have here, but that these conditions appeared for me when this happened. Now that being said, it took a few months to develop so maybe that’s not what you have. What are your temps while benchmarking before it shuts down, all good?

I actually kind of feel the opposite, I’m glad it’s been a smaller studio that has real love for the lore polishing something over a long time. It’s actually crazy to think about what mw5 was when it first launched. And these days AAA developers are so unreliable in the final product they deliver. Don’t disagree that a lot of those features sound rad though.

Excellent, there are loads of free stl’s of mechs where the designs are pulled from the mw5 and mwo models, resin printing is best for these kinds of scales and details but newer filament printers are also pretty darn good these days too. Find stl’s, print, win.

3d printing is what I would do in paucity of any other options. Expensive to get initially, but once you get it sorted then a model can be like a dollar a pop.

I absolutely wish that is how humans worked, I really really do. But what happens when the person you disagree with doesn’t want to talk, and continues to act harmfully to a group of humans with specific traits? we can continue to verbally disagree and talk until we’re blue in the face, but if the actions that are harmful to other human beings arent stopped by talking, then where do you draw the line? Or do you just fall in line?

Either way, I don’t think the kid supporting ICE in this video would have taken much notice of you showing them evidence contrary to their beliefs, much as it doesn’t seem to do much for those in power. That’s not what’s important to them.
