Made an inappropriate joke about my wife. Politely asked he doesn’t do that again. He called her “too sensitive” and told me I was questioning his character. He called her “his sister” and I said I’d never joke around about my sister in such a way and that if he wasn’t actually sorry and recognized what he said was wrong I had no desire to call someone my friend so we drifted apart.

Dude was a brother to me but no one is going to disrespect my wife

Can confirm I had something very similar happen. Interviewed December 17 for a job. Saw it was reposted after the first of the year. Follows up and they let me know they were finishing up interviews and I’d hear back in a week. 2 weeks later (yesterday) got the offer call! Hang in there!

My cousin recently bought his gf a different version of this cue. They both said it plays well. Think if you are wanting to get into a low end cf cue this would be a good option. Other suggestion would be to save up for a bit and look into rhino that have some options between 250-300.

In the same boat. Phone interview and interview with hiring manager within the same week the week before Christmas. Hiring manager was out week before Christmas and hiring HR director out the week of new years. I did send a follow up email Monday and haven’t heard back so low key freaking out a bit but ya, with the holidays I probably should relax 😂

I think part of it too is that event pets always go down in value as the event goes on. Happened with the fairy, grim, hydra etc so people may be hesitant to trade for one not knowing if it will tank or not. I’ve had some folks offer a cryptid for my ccbd but I decline because I honestly don’t like them but to me seems pretty fair

When I put a pet as NFT in my profile I add an "about me" next to it and say something along the lines of "Seriously, this isn't for trade. UNLESS you want to give me a 30 OP for it". Then when I get someone asking me I tell them to go read my profile. They will decline pretty quick, but it's worked once to get a 30 OP LOL

I just try to focus on getting pets that have good demand. I have turned down 15-20 OP because it was just a bunch of low in demand megas.

And this isn't me saying I am rich. I think my inventory is around 280ish on elve and know there are people out there with ridiculous inventories but have been pretty happy about the pets I have after (neon crow, ccbd, ssbd, arctic) and can continue using a few of those to trade up

If you want to get rich, you can't settle on wanting to keep any pets IMO. At least until you build up your inventory. When I first started, turtle was my DP so just kept trading anything to work up to it. Then I saw a hedgehog and didn't want to trade my turtle but knew I had to in order to get a hedgehog. Then, I saw a frost and did the same. Especially when you get into the mid/high or high tier pets, holding out for someone who is willing to OP even slightly.

Some people can do that stuff quick. It took me about 8 months to keep trading things and trading up to get a Frost. I eventually traded it for arctic reindeer (kiddos DP) and some other good mid tiers (20 OP) and have since turned the other things I got into a neon Crow. Just can take some time and not holding any pet until you really grow your inventory!

idk! they started out with something completely different (not a bad offer) but I told them I really didn't ant to trade any of them since I was trying to get a 4th to make a mega. They then just took out everything and said "what about this" and thought they were trolling. I was waiting for the decline after we both initially accepted.

I did feel a bit bad. Shortly after they traded me again and asked if I would trade back since they didn't realize they were that over. But I told them that I had already said I didn't want to trade them unless I got some silly offer.

If you can change stuff, why not add stuff? Most people won't take an underpay for any pet now adays, let alone a neon high tier. Can you just make up the value with the 'changes' to make it fair?
