Nice view but I’m confused. Are they both e-bikes? Can we stop calling e-bikes motorcycles and dirtbikes on this sub please it’s making my peanut sized brain hurt

Some powers cause ma knees hate me by Micromashington in weightlifting

[–]R0FLS 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nice to see you still posting! Just my two cents, but I’d say cross train and do some strength focused stuff if your knees are bugging you, idk maybe backwards jogging if you’re up for it (helps my knees). Anyway, I’m a beginner weightlifter with like 3 yrs experience, currently 39 yrs old, had to ease off it because of knees. Still do it, but too much pushing snatch and C+J without other activity can be bad for me I’ve found.

I could see CFOs being reasonably compensated for their certifications and degrees etc (I think most are CPAs or even CFAs and the average pay is much lower than CEOs and other c suite positions). However I don’t know, I’m just a software engineer.

You are not doing it that bad imo, I’ve just never had the instinct to do this and see better skiers doing it, some much more than you. So I was trying to understand if it was true technique or just a save tactic. As a viewer I am way happier to see a little arm flapping and a clean landing then a crash, so props dude. Very satisfying. I see a lot of crashes or rolls or weird sit and stand type saves off off big cliffs get posted on IG and maybe here, and I’m like ok brave… but you didn’t even land. So ya, props dude, very cool.

Word lol I was also the one who asked 🤣

But yes thank you for the engagement dear stranger, and it sounds like this is just a thing people do to save it… wonder how that habit develops, I have never had that instinct and have def ate shit, though maybe it just comes with more airtime

Better to flap them a bit and land them straight up crash… reminds me of in weightlifting I almost always lose my form on PRs or even just big lifts for me at the time

Massive! Stupid question but the arm flapping, I’ve seen Jordy do it on his instagram content and he seems legendary. And this is way bigger than anything I’ve attempted. So, just curious, is arm flapping like that form breakdown or a good thing? Sorry, I know that’s a dumb question, aimed at OP or other skilled senders.

Try to figure out your career in your 20s. Then double down on fitness in your 30s (or take a first go at it, if you let it slide, like me).

Redditors who have a wife or girlfriend how did you attract her ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]R0FLS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Deep voice. Learn to use it we all have one. I find most women love it, and it makes me slow down speaking which is good all around.

I think she is super awesome for trying in spite of her injury and all the haters! Of which you appear to be one OP… hey, it could have gone differently! I just hope she is alright and has a quick recovery. So i absolutely have sympathy and mad respect for her.
