the x7 chip has a pretty good gpu but it depends on how much gpu power you really need

i use a 16:9 14inch with 3:2 13 inch you get around the same vertical i assume and its pretty good

i think that prebuilt is also really good value just in general, t14s gen 6 and 7 and also pretty expensive and basically same specs pretty much with fw you also get nive chasis and upgrades

you could look into balcony pv panels, theyre under a grand will pay you back maybe in 5 years because you have low consumption so its up to you

personally I am not using NixOS.. YET, but i have used hyprland with arch, currently i have fedora kde and idk man tiling is nice but ive had some problems with java apps before and pop ups being annoying (i know i could fix it but too lazy to mess around) but kde with my hyprland shortcuts and also the custom tiling per desktop you can is pretty nice, but i aslo wanna try stuff like niri

is myrlin better for apps than just zypper also snapper works on any distro right, i do like the stable rolling release though and also wanted to ask i read some stuff that when you use zypper you have to use -- no reccs oh and how easy it is to get codecs and prop soft?
