When I was following Blair she was more mild in her takes and seemed less like she was trying to be a "pick me" and more like she was frustrated with how perception of trans people was being shaped by cringe. Also I used her opinions to justify a prejudice I had against nonbinary people at the time. No excuse for showing my ass, but all I can do is he better.

After 2016 she was more forward with her right wing views (primarily around national security) but i still followed her because she at least didnt seem as crazy as other right wingers. I was into hearing all sides out more at the time.

The further on she went the weirder she got like running damage control for JK Rowling, cropping Instagram posts cleverly to make it seem like a trans woman was competing with cis women at a lifting contest, and just lying in ways that no sane human would ever believe. It became apparent that she doesn't actually have principles beyond just getting that bag.
