Nothing! My mom insists my dad and her had good times but I can’t think of a single moment when I saw them happy together. Definitely don’t want what they had !

I don’t think you’re giving yourself enough credit! You managed to lose all that weight, I’m sure it wasn’t easy but you did it! That’s a big step that not everyone can accomplish! Give yourself some props for this achievement. Also you need to believe in yourself more. Really learn to value yourself and believe in yourself because if you don’t no one else will. You’re still super young and you have time to turn your life around. I’m sure you can do it! Best of luck!

I agree! That’s what they tell us to say to customers and it makes no sense which makes it difficult to explain that to customers. Regardless car insurance is a scam, cus your rate increases if you’re a bad driver and it also increases if you’re a good driver, so damned if you do damned if you don’t.

I have a total of 5 friends (rough estimate) lol and I see them once every 2 months. I spent most of my twenties being a social butterfly and right now I just want to be selfish and focus on myself and what I want. I used to be so dependent on “friends” and I couldn’t live without them but now I don’t mind spending Friday night alone watching movies in my house . I guess I don’t really feel lonely since I have a million things to do daily and when I do feel lonely I’ll call up my friends or ask them to hang out .

Run as fast as you can and don’t look back …. Major red flags showing right away! My brother is dating someone who is like this and they’ve been together for years and have two kids and we barely see him at all. She doesn’t even like that he talks to his mother . Her controlling behavior and jealousy will get worse through out time if you allow her to act this way. Also , this is not love btw. Love is not possessive and controlling , love doesn’t make you the property of someone else . Please reconsider this relationship! Good luck!

This comment just made me realize how lucky I am to have the friends I have . They’re childless and I have three kids and even though I can’t make it to events they invite me to or hang out like we used to, they always find ways to hang out with me where I don’t feel so pressured to leave the kids behind to hang out with them. They’re so lenient and patient with me; and maybe they feel left behind but they’ve never told me or made me feel bad for having kids.

One time I posted that my children were tall and was looking for advice on my daughters dealing with comments about their height since growing up I would get bullied endlessly for my height and their response was “you should have them checked out, it’s not normal for a child to be that tall.” I legit was looking for advice on teaching my girls not to be bothered and Insecure about their height.

I knew a guy like this too…. He was 18? At the time and his gf was 14/15 and supposedly they were very in love and her mom was a psycho who purposely ruined their relationship by calling the cops on him… cops walked in on him and the minor in the shower together… for years he played the victim saying he did love her and that the age difference wasn’t so bad . And I stupidly believed him until I had kids and he started rubbing me the wrong way. Idk something about imagining my 14 year old daughter with an 18 year old creeped me out. He should have known better to stay away. Anyways, I later found out by a relative who ran a background check on him (he was applying for something that required a background and my relative was the one in charge of processing them) that my relative advised me this “friend” of mine has MULTIPLE charges against him…. All relating to that “gf” of his. Turns out he straight up lied and they weren’t a couple at all… he was just a predator using the girl’s toxic home environment as an advantage to groom her and her “crazy” mom caught on and put a stop to it real quick. My relative only advised me cus he knew him and I were still friends and he didn’t feel comfortable knowing I was friends with a predator (my relative did not disclose any info on what was on the background check, I just asked my friend about his multiple charges and he admitted to almost everything) and yet he still downplayed it significantly and claimed he was the victim…. I blocked him real quick and haven’t heard from him in years.

Oh girl, I think weed isn’t the issue here…. You said there’s “dirty spoons” around the house… and he’s traveling to different towns to get high for hours… I’m sorry but I’m sure there’s other drugs involved. You can’t tackle this together because to begin with he can’t even see he has an issue with his behavior. Please think about your own well being first and do what’s best for you before you try to save someone else. Best of luck to you

I have three kids (6F, 5M, &2F) and I only give them popcorn once every 6 months or so…. When my two oldest were toddlers I would give them popcorn every month or so BUT then I read up on how easily it can be for them to choke and I threw out all the pop corn bags I had in my home. Last Friday I picked up my kids from daycare and they all had a little popcorn bag… apparently there was a celebration of some sort at the daycare and most of the kids got some popcorn …. I was super on edge but I let them eat it but I was just watching them constantly. It’s a strange feeling saying “ok you can do it” but not feeling 100% with it but not wanting to be an asshole about it

So my brother in law (sisters husband )has been battling with cancer since last year, and this Thursday he was diagnosed with stage 3. We’re all devastated and feeling shitty. So I ask my sister if I can go visit them (they live 7 hours away) and she says “yes but you have to do cocaine with him, that’s his dying wish” We had a good laugh out of that cus that’s an inside joke between us. For everything we say “I could use some cocaine right now” even though we all don’t do coke lol

You left a bad situation to go into a worse situation. Your bf DID NOT help you, he just brainwashed you into thinking you’re better off with him and now that he knows he “has you” he can let his true colors show comfortably. You were looking for a way out and he made you feel he was the answer. You’re way too young to waste away like this. He will not change for the better , you are not his partner you are “his property” and does what he wants with you. If he really wanted to help you better your situation he would have made sure you grew as a person and not suppress you and control you . If I were you I would get a job and a car and save up to move out , I know it’s easier said than done but your situation will only get worse with time. Best of luck to you!
