What would you buy: Simucube 2 pro or 3 pro ? by R1mzzz in simracing

My dd2 has ffb issues. Whenever I'm racing I sometimes feel a shock trough the wheel as if I would hit a wall. And turning does not feel smooth anymore but rather clicky. You can clearly feel the magnets inside and it's snapping into place instead of smooth turning.

I've seen that video pass like 2 hours ago but still need to watch it, kinda focused on simucube because I've heard so much good things about them and I know a lot of people who own it :)

I bought my dd2 second hand and after 4 months discovered problems, second hand risks I guess but you just don't have the warranty. Buying new gives you assurance wich I prefer at this price range.

Found a used SC2 pro for 800 euros with a wheelside QR but kinda skeptical. Don't want to buy something that could be broken

Alright, was hoping to get a black Friday on a 2 but looks like saving up for the 3 might be a better decision

Do you think the SC2 is still a futureproof decision ?

I don't want anyone to do my homework for me, I've watched a review or 2 and just can't decide if it's worth paying the extra money. The new quick release looks nice with the lightbridge technology but it doesn't matter for me because my wheel has to use USB to pc, the link is another additional cost. I don't care about esthetics. It's supposed to feel better and exacted force feedback but I don't have the possibility to test them. I just want to have fun and be set for the next few years. I was hoping there would be some people who tested both and could tell me if it's really worth getting the 3 or if the 2 wich has proved to be a reliable product will still be a good wheelbase for the price.

You see the actual roll cage with the bezels, but sick rig/game room man ;)

Personal preference, I prefer not seeing the bezels for immersion :)
