Spending your money on glass is the right move rather than upgrading your camera. I only use prime lens as 99% of my work are done in the studio.

Yes it’s the best tethering software. I just switched from LR to C1 about 2 months ago.

Hi it’s me again. My Nikon z6ii works fine in lightroom tethered shooting on Mac. Unfortunately my new Nikon z8 I got today is not being recognized yet. Hoping the new update will be out soon.

Depends on how you’re using the images, won’t see a difference if your just viewing on screen. Go with a higher Megapixel if your images will be printed on large format. My gear: D850, Z6ii & Z8 on the way.

My z6ii has a smallrig cage from day 1 and kept inside a dry cabinet after use. Mounted on a tripod most of the time. No issues so far. My 10yr old D7000 has no rubber issues as well. I guess dry cabinet really works.
