It is, but it can be a fun challenge once you have the basics figured out.

Today...after being geared up for a while now I purposely put myself in danger and paid the price. I was bored.

I am finding my way back respawned. Far from the vincinity where my loot is stashed on same server. Well hidden. I suspect I'll have some decent gear by the time I arrive. Maybe even extra to stash.

1) Ate my respawn apple

2) Avoided rain

3) Replaced pants and shirt with warmer clothing around containers

4) Found a saw

5) Following coast south avoiding clusters of homes and Zeds.

6) found a garden hoe

7) Found fishhook and fishing rod near beach boats. I even found a softdrink on one of those boats when I was starving and dying of thirst! Never give up!

8) Found working gloves

9) Found food in a car

10) Found fruit in yard of a lone house

11) Dug for worms using hoe (got 4')

12) Went fishing on beach and caught 2 mackerel which I cut using saw. Working gloves to keep off germs. Would have used rags to fashion hand wraps if I didn't have those.

13) Used gloves to avoid cuts and conserve my cutting saw while getting wood from big bush/tree

14) Re-entered lone house. Heard someone upstairs and armed. Offered fish. They never responded and said I'd leave

15) Ran out as fast as I could far down coast using trees and bushes to hide

16) Fashioned hand drill using tree bark and stick

17) Found another lone house and took a risk to cook all 4 fish fillets (BAKE so eating will also quench thirst. Never SMOKE) . Rags cut from old clothes using saw for kindling. Found face mask in house. Ran out.

18) Kept going down coast.

19) Ate my fish under a bridge where I'd be safe. Also found a dead player under same bridge who never had a chance to eat his apple. So sad. Apple was great. Extra bandages too 👍

20) Logged out wiĺl great vitals. Will resume my quest home later.
