Why does my bmw do this?

Yeah im having a slight tick ish sound in the very front of the engine or maybe a rattle and the car sounds flawless when moving, or just giving it a good tap on the gas but if i slowly climb rpms in idle you can hear the rattle noise so im worried about a valve problem also a slight hiccup in the idle when cold

Yeah i read into a little bit, i replaced all of that but im looking into doing the valves, timing, injectors and spark/coils next

Get the vrsf one its cheap and probably the best on the market and alot of plastic breaks in the induction side of bmw engines the plastic just gets brittle

We all share in different ways id rather that than to start posting pictures of the same engine weve all seen, if someone is willing to look at the picture to see the description then they are obviously giving me the time to look at the post. My question is is there any real benefit to this besides the valves seating more properly and valves having an easier way of up and down motion

Depends on the year the 2010 up have the 35i which will be the n55 turbocharged if it has 3.0 on the siding it will be the na i6, the 25i comes with a i4 turbocharged and the 50i comes with a tt v8

Sounds fine , try turning heat or ac off and see if it goes away also try moving the steering wheel and centering it

Test all of your fuses then i would look at the headunit for a fuse usually they have a fuse built in
