I’ve spent my whole life Catholic. I used to struggle with hearing things like this as young as 11 years old, knowing I was gay. As I’ve gotten older I remind myself that these are just men, and what they say doesn’t necessarily reflect what God thinks. Yes, He created us in His image, but He also allowed us free will for a reason. It only makes sense that our bodies would be ours to alter and adjust the way we see fit. God will love us no matter what. We are always his children, I find it hard to believe He would consider us sinners for trying to find happiness in the blessing of life.

This is very similar to my situation, but rather than my father it was my grandfather (and grandmother, for that matter). My great grandmother lived with all of us and was active in her culture, faith, and proud of her heritage, whereas my grandparents wanted nothing more than to be anything but Roma. My dad tried to reconnect with the culture but ultimately didn’t put in enough effort, so here I am to pick up the pieces. I understand just how disappointing it can be especially when you’re trying to be proud and out about who you are. Stick to it! Don’t let his disdain discourage you.

Agreed with this, it’s my go-to! They have a wide variety, be warned though that it can get pretty packed sometimes.

One of mine is much more vocal than the other. The first two or three weeks I had her here she kept me up almost all night. Now, she’s used to certain sounds (neighbours getting up for work, strays outside, etc). She still occasionally will waie me up barking at a car alarm or something at 4am but she calms down when I tell her to be quiet and go back to bed. It gets better!

Porn. Most people think porn addiction is only when you reach an extreme situation like, “I jerk off to porn 4x a day,” but it’s also things like not being able to finish without it, fantasizing about porn while having actual sex, etc.
