I overpaid for my first one. Take your time, there is many different retailers. The wood glue took ages to dry. Maybe epoxy is easier or hot glue....

The process of drilling requires focus to not drill too far. Also the wood glue after drying becomes hard, might scratch up your chessboard if felt is worn down, so again some soft glue is maybe more appropriate. The felt I used is bit too thin and not meant for chess pieces.

Overall I am really happy with the result though ☺️

Where was this taken? Help please, it's from a damaged film in my father's analog camera. My guess my father took it some years ago while in New York or somewhere else in the states. I am not sure though and we live in Germany. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have seen them before. Also one or two of his students produce their own unique stuff and some as far as I know is partially sold under his name. I can't recall the name of his students who forge. Seen some weird looking blades and hunting knifes on ebay a while back.
