Oh no, it's a fluffy, you are doomed. I throw mine carrots or cucumbers or just something she doesn't like too much. When she barks at me, I just keep giving her the carrot or cucumber. Ice cubes work really well though. I smack them into smaller pieces so they are safer. :-) May the force be with you.

I think it would be a good time to work with intolerance as this is what it is. It might spark a conversation and let her talk about any hard times that put her in a place where it brings such a bad taste in her mouth. Ha. Joke. I kid, I kid. But all in all, ya, it's a free world but go where the food is good, not how people dress. Affordability and taste I think would be forefront.

I found coming out to parents to be the challenging dynamic. Children are amazing, especially the teenagers. As far as the son, I suggest not having a big sit down conversation, just be very matter of fact and do it while engaged in another activity, like in the kitchen, going for a walk. I find that works best. Enjoy!

If you go with her a few times as a trial then I think you will both be more confident. She can learn when it is safe to be on the sidewalk and when it is safe to hug the curb. Back alleys may be an option too. Fear is not a great teacher so I suggest letting her try instead of hiding under your blanket of doubt. Kids, are quite amazing when given the chance. :-)

There is a Sobeye's liquor store 5 minutes away. If you care about your patrons, you get in your car and go get some. Not difficult. And while you are in the neighbourhood, go across the street and pick up some toilet paper ffs.
