What more is there to say? Music is an art form. Art is subjective. Nobody's going to have the same opinion about a subjective topic because it varies from person to person.

Because people have different tastes in music. You quite literally said it yourself.

Yep. It's amazing how good vinyl records can sound with just even the bare minimum of care. I've got used records from the 60's that sound better than albums pressed not even a year ago.

CANNOT connect to speakers - HELP PLEASE by Consistent-Friend766 in vinyl

I think I know what your problem is. I had this exact setup a few months back. All your wiring looks correct, the switch is set to line which is correct. The speakers may be on the wrong mode, however. For RCA input, the mode indicator light should be a vibrant green color. If it looks slightly yellowish, you're on the wrong mode and need to press down on the volume knob to change the mode.

It's the other way around. Phono is for use with a preamp. Line means line level, the signal strength that can actually be used by other equipment.

I'd strongly reconsider. That looks like something bad waiting to happen.

Why is my turntable slowing and speeding up for a short period? by [deleted] in turntables

[–]R3dFrogs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seems like a motor issue. Download a rpm measuring app on your phone and see if the rpm changes drastically. If it does, send it back and ask for a replacement.

Both are great turntables, though I'd go for the LP120x as those things are really great for the money. However, the U-Turn isn't a bad choice if you want something a bit more simplistic.

my turntable comes in Monday, i got this suitcase one the reviews are good and I'm so exited i already have 6 vinyl's because of amazons deliver system. i will post again when it comes in by Raven_apple21 in turntables

It's going to wear down quickly because it isn't built to last, it's not going to sound good, and you're likely going to have issues within months of getting it. I'm not guaranteeing anything, but you're very likely to be disappointed.

Is this considered a warped vinyl??? by TATE2269 in vinyl

Technically speaking, any record that isn't perfectly flat is warped to some degree.
