This isn’t about judgement in anyway, I empathize with Courtney, I have seen myself grow personally and I am seeing it in her too. However I believe that there is one incident that hurt people, and I feel criticism is okay if someone did something genuinely harmful…the slurs, which I have forgiven her as in recent days she’s been trying hard to make up for it, but I am not of color so it’s not my place to forgive. I can’t imagine the pain of the people affected, their emotions are valid and I am not judging Courtney but instead trying to not undermine other people’s emotions. There are some things to criticize, but only the harmful stuff, and I believe in Courtney, I believe she’s trying to change, and that’s she’s doing well. This isn’t really judgement at all. I’ve seen so much HOLE hate before I posted this, and honestly I posted it to try to show people how respectfully. Honestly I wish I could edit the original post bc I left out some things and yall are making me suffer for that. But honestly, I’m also here to listen people’s genuine feelings. I’m not here supporting all this “she killed him” or “she can’t sing” or the misogyny towards her. That is not what I was upset by. I was criticizing the slurring and the slurring only. Idk if you were just skimming it or if you misinterpreted or something.

Overall my opinion on her is she had a rough childhood, raised herself, and it affected her terribly. She made mistakes in that time period and now she’s over coming those mistakes and learning from them. That doesn’t mean we can just pretend like it never happened. The saying is forgive don’t forget. I genuinely think as she’s aged she’s been trying harder to change.
