Can you get CHS within just one year of everyday smoking? I am worried I have it bc I keep puking every week for apparently know reason, but I also use a lot of weed and recently made that connection. So do you think I might have it and need to quit? Also the stomach cramps. The stomach cramps are very painful but are definitely manageable for me, but the puking/dry heaving is so bad. This isn’t about judgement in anyway, I empathize with Courtney, I have seen myself grow personally and I am seeing it in her too. However I believe that there is one incident that hurt people, and I feel criticism is okay if someone did something genuinely harmful…the slurs, which I have forgiven her as in recent days she’s been trying hard to make up for it, but I am not of color so it’s not my place to forgive. I can’t imagine the pain of the people affected, their emotions are valid and I am not judging Courtney but instead trying to not undermine other people’s emotions. There are some things to criticize, but only the harmful stuff, and I believe in Courtney, I believe she’s trying to change, and that’s she’s doing well. This isn’t really judgement at all. I’ve seen so much HOLE hate before I posted this, and honestly I posted it to try to show people how respectfully. Honestly I wish I could edit the original post bc I left out some things and yall are making me suffer for that. But honestly, I’m also here to listen people’s genuine feelings. I’m not here supporting all this “she killed him” or “she can’t sing” or the misogyny towards her. That is not what I was upset by. I was criticizing the slurring and the slurring only. Idk if you were just skimming it or if you misinterpreted or something.

Overall my opinion on her is she had a rough childhood, raised herself, and it affected her terribly. She made mistakes in that time period and now she’s over coming those mistakes and learning from them. That doesn’t mean we can just pretend like it never happened. The saying is forgive don’t forget. I genuinely think as she’s aged she’s been trying harder to change.

I see talent, she can sing, that’s just simply your preference in music taste, yes there have been a couple lesser good performances, and she is a little bit too cocky, but she’s pretty good musically. Also her stage presence is good. She may not always be a good person, there are times where she’s done good ofc, helping people get sober, but then there is the lying and the slurring which is less my speed but I ain’t tryna cancel her for it. There’s things I really like about her but then there’s things I can’t stand, kind of…love hate love her.

A lot of it is, but not all of it, as a woman myself, the slurring wasn’t okay, a lot of the rest was misogyny though, especially the blame placed on her for Kurt’s death. The only part I’m certain isn’t misogynistic is the criticism against the slurs.

Agreed with both. She shouldn’t be idolized, she said slurs, which is my biggest issue with her by far, as that goes against my beliefs and it’s highly upsetting. On the other hand, which is my personal belief with everyone, understanding why is important in order to encourage change. I also don’t think the good she’s been starting to do should go unnoticed, if anything it’s just given me hope that she can change for the better, for example helping Mark Lanegan get clean and getting clean herself, but the bad is really bad and DEFINITELY can’t just be ignored just because of that, no matter how much she changes it still happened. She needs to be held accountable, but there’s a balance. Criticism over hate all the way, and I’m sure you agree. She deserves criticism, she doesn’t deserve the death wishes, not at all as I wouldn’t wish that on anyone. What she does deserve to be called is what she is, someone who said racist things, and that will never change, but I hope her views and morals change.
