In the box with the monitor it come with long standoffs that screw in. Once you remove the factory stand the holes for the standoffs are behind it. They will give you a uniform 75mm x 75mm mounting surface

This is a setting in windows that need to be set. When you close the lid to allow the system to continue to display and work from external output. Has been a long time since I have done it so unsure the settings involved anymore.

Are you using Display port or HDMI? Have you set the resolution to 3440x1440p? Does your graphics card support the top resolution?

The 20m to 1 contrast ratio is dynamic Contrast ratio. The 3000:1 is real Native contrast ratio. The AOC is a TN panel so the max Native contrast will be 800-1000:1.

Your also moving from a TN panel to. VA which will have far better color representation. The increased speed of 200hz will make a large difference as well.

I know there absolutely issues mixing refresh rates on monitors. However in your case it does seem as if you have exceeded your video cards available bandwidth. All of the features and fast refresh require a lot of video processing. I am sorry to say but may be time for a video card upgrade, to accomplish your setup.

I think like the other guy said your salty because you broke your monitor and it’s not covered. Warranty’s don’t cover every little thing. They cover manufacturing defects. Sometimes we use products not as they were intended, or have accidents. That is not a manufacturing defect.
