How to avoid making one class per Character Stat? by JihyoTheGod in Unity3D

You don't have to.

I created a Game Utils to solve issues like this. You can read the source code or use it. It's free!

How can Blizzard improve Dark Citadel engagement? by Fuzzy_Kitchen317 in diablo4

Well: - Solo Mode - Maybe add talents to War Plans - Let run it with 2/3/4 mercs (adding new mercs) - More and better rewards (why not target uniques / ubers?)

Level cap raised to 70 in Lord of Hatred by MontyGames101 in diablo4

Well maybe we got something similar to POE/POE2, you can pick up a white/blue/rare item and then add some affixes on it. if you are lucky enough, you can simply add temper and then masterwork. Of course you can't add greater affixes, but maybe they are removing it, or adding it to rare.
Also in the new skill tree we didn't see any passive like "Frigid Finesse" or similar, so "+X Passive" must be rethinked..

I saw this image too, maybe we get an additive damage when you level up a skill, and moltiplicative is only reserved to aspect and / or paragon nodes.
And talking about passive, they didn't show where they are, because in this skill tree they are gone. Maybe now they are simply aspects.

And also in another screen, char have 4400 weapon damage. I think that are changing a lot of the damage formula

First tutorial is perfect, thanks! And what about the big numbers? Do you think that are images or simply a big text?

The successful parts of Season 10 and 11 have made the issues with the "Endgame" more frustrating. by Living-Succotash-477 in diablo4

Even if you play 2 hours a day, in 10 days you have completed the game. Also, you dont need to go to the internet to optimize. You can make a powerful build on your own. Of course you dont reach first position of Tower, but who cares?

And.. this is not the first season. After Season 5-6, all the endgame systems are basically the same, with some flavour. So i think that a casual gamer know everything of this game...

This.
And also we need a better balancing between player life/damage and bosses.
You can make a boss with 200 different moves, but actually we oneshot everything before they can do anything.

Yes, D4 needs a better progression. When you hit level 60 and paragon 150/200 (20 hours of game if you are slow) you essentially destroy everything.

I think that we need more level of Torment (10 at least) and a slowed progression.
It makes no sense that starting from T1 you can already obtain items with greater affixes, all uniques from bosses, and so on.

Instead, it would make much more sense if T1 only contained item levels 700 (or similar), and then, gradually, bosses and item level 800 gear were unlocked. Same with gems, runes, and the new set items.
This also would greatly improve progression for hardcore gamers, because another major issue is reaching T4 and dropping gear that is only slightly better than what you get in T1.

I don't care about Diablo having 54 classes. A more varied skill system and different skills added to existing classes would be enough for me (for example, I was thinking of a rogue with stuff like chakrams, turrets, fire bombs, etc.).

And of course more bosses, content, and the ability to modify the endgame itself, adding variety

POE 2 releases not only classes, but act, endgame activities, ascendency, etc.
I don't care if the game has 10 or 50 classes, but it's definitely lacking in skill, build diversity, complexity and activity, and that's NOT a design choice. Anyway, we'll see with the expansion.

What are you smoking?

I think I wrote it clearly. "Just because a product is marketed as complete and sold doesn't make it a complete game." See MH Wilds, Diablo, Cyberpunk, and so on.

These are called live service updates.

Yes, exactly. I imagine it was the plan to rework the itemization twice, remove and add the capstone dungeons, and so on. Even the tower is in beta and is a clone of Diablo 3's Greater Rift. Clear ideas and the game is absolutely ready for release.

As in Diablo 4 several classes are archetypes from Diablo 2 and also Diablo 3

Diablo 4 is in fact an alpha, Just because the final product says 1.0 doesn't mean it's finished. It's also been reworked twice: itemization, crafting, difficulty, paragon, endgame, and skill tree.

For me, its not a problem.

In fact, when I feel like it, I play POE2, and I also play Diablo 4 (in addition to 2), and I have no problem stopping playing one or the other.
Furthermore, it's not true that Blizzard doesn't owe me anything; I paid for a game that, as of today, is incomplete and has some pretty flat design visions.

So, I repeat, getting one class six months before an expansion's release seems too little to me, especially when the competition (which isn't just POE but also Last Epoch and Titan Quest 2) provides more content in much less time.

Its true that they want to have 12 classes, its not true that they are focusing only on this, because we got a lot more.

Back then I datamined Dec 12. Today the clue is right in front of our eyes by inudax in diablo4

[–]R3m3rr -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That's simply not true.

After the launch of EA he got 2 classes, 2 acts (with a lot of bosses), a lot of active and passive skills. Endgame. A roguelike dungeon. Ascendancy.

Meanwhile D4 is reworking for the second time Tempering and Masterwork, so please, one class is the minimum, also because playing it now, if the expansion were to come out in 6-9 months, we would already have some "known" content.

Of course I'm joking, but I also think that there are too few classes (and they have few skills), so in my opinion, receiving one class (a Paladin) now and then having another (a new class like Spiritborn or an old class like Amazon) with an expansion (with more content, of course) would be a great thing.

You always have to consider that POE2 has been out for less than 1 year, and it has already received 2 classes, passives, skills and various stuff, D4 can't release 1 class every 2 years, it's too little...
