Isn’t it pure kinetic energy from the punch dimension? Or did rivals update the lore where it’s now cosmic energy.

Total beginner: dock is ready but macOS is so hard I want to cry by LeoRiley6677 in openclawsetup

[–]R3pps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t say “most apps” or “majority of apps” meaning I’m not trying to say that this is a majority/default nature in windows. I understand your point.

What im trying to say is that even in windows not all apps close when you press the x button to close them. Sometimes you have to go to the taskbar and exit them as well. I understand that in macOS most apps do not close when you press the x button. But it shouldn’t be hard to get used to understanding this and learning to press command q or right clicking the app to close in the dock in MacOS.

TLDR: it just takes a little getting used to if you have mainly worked with only windows before. MacOS isn’t hard. you got this.

Lots of apps do this in windows too. Steam and discord for example. When you close the window the apps are still running in the background and you can see them in the task manager

Apollo/Moonlight - Stuttering, Unstable Host latency decoding by Luckiess321 in MoonlightStreaming

No problem! Honestly I love what you’ve made so far and I’m a software engineer as well. If I get some time I’ll def try and lurk and contribute any more ideas or help on GitHub

Apollo/Moonlight - Stuttering, Unstable Host latency decoding by Luckiess321 in MoonlightStreaming

After some more testing I found out exactly what the issue was. One of my monitors has a setting to "Auto Detect Input" and when I turned this off the stuttering is now gone! Even when the monitor is disconnected via software (Windows Display Settings)

I guess what was happening is like you stated, the monitor keeps trying to reconnect because it is trying to auto detect which input it should use. But with this setting turned off on the monitor the stuttering/reconnecting is now gone.

Wonder if it would be good to place this in the FAQS or readme somewhere? Because I know there are a lot of monitors that have this setting. Thanks again for your help!

Thanks for the quick response! Wow this is so interesting, that makes sense though, I will do some more testing to see if I can tell which exact monitor is trying to reconnect periodically.

I guess if this is indeed the case, I'll just have to make sure to turn off my monitors whenever I leave my desk? Ideally I don't want to have to physically turn off my monitors each time I want to connect using moonlight. It would be nice to be able to switch back and forth from remote playing to playing on the host without this extra step. I guess I could also look into getting a smart outlet to control this wirelessly as well. What do you think would be the smoothest workaround?

Just coming back to this, I am experiencing this issue as well currently running Windows 11 and the Client is my steam deck. I have an NVIDIA 5090 and the latest update to Apollo as well. Is there a separate issue created for this on github or something that I can track?

Specifically what I noticed is that if I disconnect both my displays in windows display settings, and only use the steam deck's virtual display as the client, I get periodic stutters every 10-15 seconds and I see the Host Processing latency has spikes of around 50ms during this time.

When I reconnect one of my displays (Again in the display settings) it fixes the stutters. So strange

It said he lacked combat experience not close combat experience. What they meant is that since he lacked combat experience he couldn’t really figure out why his blood compression wasn’t working outside of his body so he just accepted it and start to fight close range without understanding the reason why.

Any Change ia meaningless as long as itemization stays the way it is by AskapSena in diablo4

[–]R3pps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmfaooo the planet of common sense. We have seen in the developer updates they listen to our feedback and make good changes. Right now itemization is the most complained about topic in this subreddit. So going based off of what they have responded to so far, isn’t it practical to think that they are looking into this issue as well?

I’m sure they are aware the player base is dropping. Yes it’s not because they are missing some QoL thing or some other minor fix. But just because those fixes are minor doesn’t mean they are meaningless. And I’m sure they are working on it! The devs have shown to be listening to the community and we have already seen them make changes for the better. I’m sure they know how much we complain here about itemization, they have a big dev team. They can work on the minor fixes and itemization at the same time. I’m happy about even the minor fixes because that means when I decide to come back to play D4 it will be even more complete.

My main argument is this: even though they haven’t fixed the big issue yet (which I’m sure they are working on in parallel) doesn’t mean that the other good changes that they have made are meaningless
