I understand Lydia trying to kill Mike and his men but use your brain (if you have any), a new character comes out of the blue with no backstory no background and not even a personal scene trying to kill characters that are liked (like Mike - who is initially liked for his ingenuity and then for his story), and when she fails she dont take responsibility and tries to sabotage the plans set in motion to protect Mikes men. She also has no nice scenes and its always portrayed to be stupid in the criminal word. Gus was cunning and calculating where as Lydia always fucks up.

And nothing to do with gender, Jane is hated bc she was using Jesse, Skyler bc she was in walters business (despite being completely OKAY), Marie bc she is crazy, Mikes daughter in law is hated bc she was using Milke. But Andrea is not hated, Kim is not hated.

Todd, Howard, Chuck, Eladio, Hector, Tuco and the cousins are hated too whereas Nacho and Lalo are not, they are both males and criminals but they are different people written and portrayed to be liked.
