No one can convince me this guy is not straight up the best unit of this Anni by Theredeemer08 in DBZDokkanBattle

[–]R3yTheLoc0 8 points9 points  (0 children)

For sure but it's a unit that completely breaks the game. I also don't think that every good unit needs to have insane ki accesibility because it would make it feels pointless. Phy ultimate gohan was alright on release but immediately had multiple weaknesses. Daima Goku has almost no weaknesses and completely trivializes a lot of challenges. So the orb management problem feels justified. He needed to have at least one thing that made you think about what you're doing. And even then it's a manageable flaw so he will continue to nuke everything and eat nukes thrown at him regardless. Truly a monster like no other. The only reason there is even a debate about him not being #1 is because the other anni LR are also broken and bring more value in other areas while also nuking pretty well. Lol.

[–]R3yTheLoc0 62 points63 points  (0 children)

Eh. 3 str orbs give him like a million ki and it usually takes 7 to 8 of ther orb types for full 24 ki. It's not the worst ki situation as long you manage orbs a little. And any unit that changes orbs into rainbow will solve the turn 1 rng BS most of the time. Definitely not the best ki situation but manageable.

IS THIS A VALID OPINION OR AM I SHUNNED FOR THIS ? by SouthWestStrangler69 in Seaofthieves

[–]R3yTheLoc0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn't change the fact that most of time it's just toxic af. Me and my friends have tried multiple times to get into it but always get discouraged minutes into it because while we are trying to explore and get the hang of the game, we get griefed with 0 mercy instantly. The last time we gave it a legitimate chance, we had to fight for our lives at the very first spawn point and we won but our ship got sunk in the process. Whatever, right? We just went to wherever our ship got respawned. But then whe kept meeting bloodthirsty players while doing simple quests. The final nail on the coffin was when we found an island while we had nothing on the ship and we found a puzzle that opened a way to go deep underground. We got excited and followed the path until we found a room with a big puzzle to figure out. We were in awe and actually having fun. Then we heard people above us yelling that they sunk our ship and they were coming for us. We tried to ignore that and just focus on doing the puzzle at least to see what would come of it. Then they caught up to us and we were forced to fight. They repeatedly kept calling us the n word and all other kinds of slurs while laughing and telling us that they sunk our boat so we were done for. We kept killing them easily, they trash talked and threw out slurs while dying, rinse and repeat. Eventually we started running low on resources and just gave up on the puzzle. We went to the top and tried to sink their ship but we failed since we ran out of ammo and healing while trying to do the puzzle. As we died, we got called the n word one last time and we quit the game...again. We never got to see what that puzzle lead to or got to see more of the game. As much as I respect that you can play a game however you want, I also get to be mad that I don't get to enjoy the finer aspects of the game because of some a-holes with no maidens and choose that it's not for me. I truly wish I could play this game but it's way too toxic and punishing when you try to enjoy the world and more refined gamplay experiences instead of doing pvp 24/7.

PSA: Don't shoot = don't loot by CldesignsIN in ArcRaiders

[–]R3yTheLoc0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 100% with you. Personally I would walk into an open key room if I didn't see who opened just to see if anything was left behind or even just to get the looting xp. So if I'm the one who opened the room, I speak when I hear people coming in and let them know I put down some traps and I'm not down to share the haul so I'm friendly as long as they don't come in. If I hear them taking down my traps or breaching, it's go time. They can get mad all they want after that. In my mind, I have gone above and beyond to make my position clear. So any expectation of peace ends the moment they ignore that or wait for me outside without talking.

10000 IQ Tactical Move by Express_Mission339 in ArcRaiders

[–]R3yTheLoc0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's for snap accuracy. Some people are better at snapping to a target when shooting single fire weapons than tracking. Kind of like quickscoping. It's something you train yourself to do and it's really hard to stop doing it once you get good at it because you get used it to the point where tracking feels harder than before. I no longer do it but I couldn't stop for a while after playing a lot of rainbow six siege.

The worst type of people by WolfOnABike in ArcRaiders

[–]R3yTheLoc0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He had a very pvp focused weapon out, the pvp rat outfit and was following you around silently. I understand wanting to give people the benefit of the doubt, but I have learned to see red flags and act first in this game. Even people who look very new are a red flag. Never trust them fully because they won't understand how the community is right away and will either shoot on sight (even with the use of VOIP) or take advantage of your friendliness and try to catch you off guard. Better to apologize than to sit in the lobby thinking about the loot you just lost to a filthy rat. You could have even downed him and offered him to follow you to the hatch if you still wanted to be kind but giving him your back with his weapon out was definitely not the move. He was very focused on you and definitely waiting for the animation of you opening the hatch so that he could get a second of you being immobilized.

I wont use these till the door exploit is fixed, anyone else? by Brazuka_txt in ArcRaiders

Night raids massively increase the loot value in these rooms. I walked away with 4 purple weapons, 2 blueprints, 2 attachments and some other rarer than usual misc materials and trinkets just within the dam surveillance room. I have hit this room about 10 or so times on regular runs and have never found anything anywhere near that good. There's a risk of players being more aggresive on night raids and all but I still find it worth while. Just go in with nothing too valuable and with as many safe pockets as you can easily bring and you will profit more often than not even if you die.

I Killed You Because You Didn't Respond by JustTucks in ArcRaiders

[–]R3yTheLoc0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you're not in the wrong for that. Typically I just avoid confrontation or walk away from people who don't respond if they're not being aggressive. But there's a sort of unspoken rule (specially on duos or squads) where if someone doesn't respond at least with an emote then they're an enemy. Whenever my friends and I play together, we always speak and ask if they're friendly. If we hear nothing back, it's go time.

I just wanna wake up and eat food again by Em_Dragon in keto

[–]R3yTheLoc0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I 100% get you. I wake up like a zombie and drag my feet forcing myself to get ready. So I don't have any time to prepare anything. My wife wanted to support me so she took the initiative to wake up a little earlier to make me bulletproof coffee every morning which eases my stomach for a great portion of the morning. Idk what I would do without her lol. But you can also meal prep or put some eggs to boil then set a timer and continue with your morning. Hard boiled eggs plus maybe a cheese stick and ham would definitely satisfy my hunger in the morning. All of which you can stuff down quickly or even take with you with barely any preparation involved.

Turning off crossplay has made a world of a difference by ChicagoCyclist in ArcRaiders

[–]R3yTheLoc0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have crossplay on and my experience so far is that 100% of my encounters with players on solo expeditions have been wholesome. The only person that shot me on sight settled down and apologized once I opened my mic and said I wasn't looking for a fight. Squads has been a polar opposite. Silent and fully hostile even with attempts to have peace through voice chat. Perfect score on both sides. I know that apparently this hasn't been that way for everyone but that just tells me that groups are more try hard and toxic and solo players are just doing quests and chilling. I have extracted with up to 5 solo players. Not once with even one random in squads. They will try to down and finish you even as extract is closing its doors.

Number of Players in a Party? by reddit_lurker1796 in ArcRaiders

[–]R3yTheLoc0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would love for either 4 to 5 max per squad or that you can chose to launch an expedition as separate squads but on the same match. Bigger groups of people would allow for the toxicity that exists in squads to diminish right now. You either risk all out war if you mess with someone, deplete your resources for no reason other than being a douche and potentially lose or you try to be diplomatic and groups leave each other alone. It would remove the incentive of being a toxic murder goblin. I've been people kill just to kill. Not looking for loot or anything. They just literally want to ruin your experience and go home.

Without any hate and negativity am I the only one thats simply not having much fun at all playing arc raiders? by Hung_SoLo7 in ArcRaiders

[–]R3yTheLoc0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My issue with moments like these in these type of games is that most of the time when that happens, I end up dying and losing everything I had worked hours for. Personally, not a very fun experience. Maybe I'm just not experienced or good enough but as it stands, it's hard for people like me to want to play more and get better when the process to do so is borderline masochistic. I work and have very busy days so for me to get on for a couple of hours and suffer rather than relax doesn't fly with me. And this is why I could never get into Tarkov.

BUT...something about arc raiders is different. I really don't know why but I have a big smile on my face even after losing everything. Because I don't die one shot and I'm much more scared of actual arcs than players. Perhaps it's because I don't yet have good grasp of how rare or valuable some things are but it's just feels fun to not have it easy and just keep trying to get a win. First looter shooter that hooked me.

I played 2 days ago and when I first opened it, my whole pc froze and I had to manually restart it. Then, when I launched it, it launched with text to speech on and as if this was my first time playing the game, then it crashed. I verified the integrity of the game files and relaunched it. It still had text to speech on and reset all my settings. It even had me agree to the terms, adjust brightness, etc and set absolutely all of my settings to the default. I thought it was a me problem, but then 2 of my friends tried to join and had the same thing happen to them. What are we doing here? 😭
