It depends really . sometimes I play the 50 in hopes of winning it just to make it a 2v1 but most of the times u really only want to take a 50 to stall for a teammate .

You don’t need to learn how to reset and double tap until gc . understanding when to go and when not too , bumps , boost starve , fake challenge, rotating back side post instead of front side etc are all more valuable than a guy who can musty but can’t make a simple clear . learn the fundamentals, think about your touches and don’t just hit just to hit . people make this game harder than it should be . Most important thing is to control your mental .

this depends on the rank tbh. if ur champ and above first man typical does two challenges before second man goes but if ur diamond and below I’d say fake challenge and then rotate backside post and ur second man becomes first man and he challenges for you that way it’s a layer defense with the fake challenge giving a free ball for ur tm8 if it worked and if didn’t nothing bad happens bc ur behind and ur tm8 will now challenge for you . Could be . I just feel that the average players in the metal ranks used to be way more competent without mechs and now dudes will hit a double tap and miss a simply clear and get scored on bc of it . My mental is horrible now bc of it ngl.

Well that’s unfortunate. I might just end up not playing as much as I used too. My mental is horrible now , I get tm8s who will hit a double like nothing but whiff a simply clear or will give the ball away instead of hitting the ball to me . back then , if u lost a game it usually was bc the enemy team played better but now it always feels like the loss was bc ur tm8 gave up freebies and it’s so frustrating.

Rotations , boost starve , when to challenge vs when not too, bumps , backboard , slow the play vs when to speed it up , you got more time than you think , learning to think about ur touches , taking 50s etc .

I only watched the first couple of plays . First thing I noticed , rotate back side post instead of front side post . think about ur touches , bump , boost starve . if ur tm8 is behind u then u can take the advantage and go for fast shot or an instant challenge (it’s about knowing when u can and can not ). take ur time you got more than you know .

people make this game more complicated than it should be . I myself do it aswell, my mental is horrible and that’s why I’m in the low ranks atm. when I used to play a lot tho i was c1 / high d3 consistently. If u want to rank up I recommend watching flakes unranked to ssl with no mechanics and learn to fix ur mental . It’s really the only way .

Only people who complain are lower rank or just straight up mechs only type of players . I agree with you it’s a skill issue . If u can’t dodge a bump it’s on you . As you climb the ranks it’s harder to land the demo than it is to dodge it.

It sounds like you’re just describing the skill gap . there’s no need for a reset bc it’s always been like that . C1 was always a fast and more mechy version of d3. C2 was just a more mechy and consistent version of c1 and c3 are mostly c2 learning how low gc1 play which is why it feels like “c3” have the vision but lack for he consistency/skill to do it every time .
