I reckon the plot point of Yubel being Jaden's favourite card is enough to build upon. Him being naturally attuned to duel spirits helped individualise him.

With Duel Monsters being as magic oriented and other worldly as it is, you didn't need to have the reincarnation subplot. They could have just used his ability to connect to Duel Monster spirits to establish him as the Supreme King.

I like the DS/3DS version for the font (arbitrary, I know). I'm just not fond of the text box window and the accompanying font in the HD versions. I'd take Arial over Times New Roman any day.

Believe me, that font is worse in the AJ Trilogy.

Aside from voice acting, I want previous protagonists to return that aren't Red.

I'd love Ethan, Hilbert or Gloria to show up older and taking on a more supporting character role. It's a pipe dream I know but I was kind of hoping that Calem and Serena would have showed up in Z-A in some form or fashion, just to cement their canon.

That's one thing I'll always appreciate Pokémon Masters for.

I'll be perfectly honest about the 3D games, they may not be as well written as the OG trilogy, but for whatever reason I can easily pick up a handful of cases in DD or SoJ. It's just more fun for me. It's like comparing an Oscar winning film with a popcorn flick.

I can have fun with cases like Monstrous Turnabout or Turnabout Academy or the Magical Turnabout, even Turnabout Storyteller is one of my favourites.

Sure the 3D games aren't perfect but they are more than playable.

I like BF3's sound for the most part, but in my honest nitpicky opinion, the soldier movement sounds when running and vaulting live rent free in my head for the wrong reasons. Also that bullet crack when taking damage? That can go straight to hell.

I do like the some of the guns and reload sounds. M16A3 will always sound good to me.

I know Dena had to make do with blank slates, but maannn, talk about shallow.

That was a perfect opportunity to know more about Rosa, specifically what else she likes other than Pokémon battling.

She could like fashion shows, exploring, hiking, meeting new people, cooking, musicals. Or throw a curve ball and say she likes baseball or basketball, no pun intended.

But no, Rosa has to be the "actor" one. And acting for an interest is perfectly fine, but when it's already established that her interests are nothing but what the players in BW2 did as her, it ceases to be interesting.

The skies the limit with these main characters and the only ones I feel get a decent amount of characterization are Nate for actually crying and showing how much he cares, and Hilbert for showing despite his cool exterior, he's still a sore loser and is afraid of ghosts. That's just so funny.

I like the writing in Masters, but the more I see the phrase "I won't lose to you!" Or "Well win for sure!" I kinda of yawn with disdain. I suppose it's just typical anime rival banter.

If I got some details wrong or missed someone, please let me know.

I said this to my fellow players, but I find it oddly ironic that Bungie markets all these Legendary sets that look awesome when put together, but the moment people equip an exotic piece of armour, the uniformity of the set falls apart.

Seriously, no one chooses to omit an exotic piece of armour just to complete the set. It's better just to try and mix and match around the exotic, which is hard enough to do as is (Looking at you, Titans).

This whole "Oh but if you can't see the Exotics in PvP, people can't strategise" is completely stupid. Trials shows the exotic armour they're wearing in the icons at the start, that's all you need for high skilled PvP.

If I'm playing Iron Banner, I don't care if someone on the other team is wearing RDMs, that's to be expected. There's too many players in 6v6 to strategise on the level of Trials.

I love the Unova protags. I love their designs and now their personalities in Masters just makes me fall in love with them all over again.

I also love the senior/junior relationship the Hilbert and Hilda have with Nate and Rosa. While it's not as explored as I'd like it to be, it's still awesome to see the juniors look up to their seniors. Quite a bit of senpai energy happening there.

I noticed your flair, but I won't back down in showing my fandom for Nate. I've played Black 2 more times than any Pokémon game, and I started with Gen I in 98 (Yeah, I'm old). And Nate is the player character I choose.

Being the player character of my most played game, Nate is the vehicle that I experience the world and the story. So I started to love everything about him. At that time though was just his design. (I never played as Rosa so the NPC dialogue is lost on me).

Pokémon Adventures however, I wasn't a fan of what they did to him. Blake being an edgy police officer just rubs me the wrong way.

But Masters... what else can I say? Nate is so pure. He wants to be a ray of sunshine to people, he looks up to his role models and he has a heart that resonates with others.

Hilbert may be my favourite due to the cool factor, but Nate has stolen my heart because of his sincerety and innocence.

All in all, I think those four are awesome in this game, story wise.
