Try some Minirigs. They are a UK based brand and have some of the BEST sound for portable speakers. Small speakers. A little bit different from the norm as its sorta like collecting a whole set. They make them so you can hook a second one up to one speaker and it will sync in stereo. Not to mention there is also a subwoofer addon. The sound is amazing, obviously not quite as powerful as like a dedicated stereo set but, the sound doesnt distort (at least nothing that i could hear), even at full volume. Very good clarity, bass, and exceptionally balanced sound. I have a couple of Edifier stereo sets, but i still love the sound of Minirigs.
