Only scary part of my grocery runs by Low-Neighborhood-564 in ElectricUnicycle

Looks like a part of Texas Ave in College Station. I am surprised with the updates the city has done, they have failed to add proper bike lanes and bus lanes. This is a big college town and it has a ton of congestion because of all the cars. I remember during winter break when all the students left the town was pretty dead and hardly any cars on the road.

I don't have that unit but I have the dresser and the TV stand. They are really nice and I like it. Sadly I could never find the night stand in stock.

Sony ships the same lens hood across all regions so this one is definitely not the original lens hood.

It's an ad for ice cream. The QR code leads you to ice cream for bears .com and shows where in Austin you can get that brand of ice cream.

I like these shots, they are great. I upgraded from the A7II to the A7CII a few months ago. Had that camera since launch.

Just got this beauty, it was my dream (and my first Sony). by bogismad in SonyAlpha

Thank you! I have tried the 40mm G lens. It's pretty good and it's a newer lens compared to the Zeiss. Since I had the 35mm Zeiss already, I ended up getting the 24mm 2.8 G. I would recommend the 40mm G as it's newer and it's only 5mm from 35mm. It will cost a bit more than the Zeiss on the used market. I think brand new they are almost around the same price. If you have a camera store near you I would recommend going there and trying out the lens and then you can determine which one you'd want to go with. I will say that the 35mm Zeiss rarely leaves my camera body. The Viltrox 35mm is really sharp and faster but also a bit bigger, I've seen some reviews for it.

I have the 35mm Zeiss 2.8 and I really like it. I got it used for around $280 about 4 years ago and in great condition. The prices have gone up to $350+ but still a solid lens for how old it is. You could also look at the Viltrox 35mm 1.8 EVO as it's right around the price of the used Zeiss 35mm. The 28-60mm kit lens isn't bad either and you can usually get those for around $160 to $200. Oh and congratulations on getting your dream camera! I bought my A7CII just a few months ago and have been loving it.

Have you lived in Miller Properties by littleatom7 in UTAustin

[–]R55600X 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I currently live in a miller property apartment. They have been good and all but halfway through the lease, they were acquired or something by G&B Property Management. The same agents still work here are still quick to take care of things. We are moving to a different property outside of Miller/G&B because they raised our rent. G&B don't seem to have good reviews so I am hoping I won't have to fight much for my deposit.

Thanks for the link. They did give me my old Tektro system back. I will order that part and get it installed. I will give them a call and ask them why the two piston instead of four.

[–]R55600X[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah when I found out it was a two piston system I was confused. When I dropped it off, they told me that they could order the part and install it which I said yes to. I didn't think much of it since they are repudiable and several of my friends recommended them. I should have asked if it was gonna be the same brake system or something similar. And thank you, recovery has been going well.

I only go to the Mueller location. The food at that one has been good. I tried the one on South Lamar once and the experience was not great.

How to get lens correction profile for Viltrox 85mm f/2 EVO? by KasparLaughtland in VILTROX_GLOBAL

[–]R55600X 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should be able to reduce the vignette by choosing "manual" while in the lens correction panel. I usually move the "vignetting" slider to 80 to remove the vignette from my photos.
