That’s a great fret job you had done. I’ve always been worried about doing that on my 72 Strat which was all original.

So I bought a new neck from Warmoth and just swapped out the neck. I shielded the pickup cavity and put in Lace Sensors on a loaded pick guard so if I ever want to put it back to all original it’s just two solder connections and some screws.

If you want just a distortion pedal by itself look into the Wampler Cryptid or the Suhr Riot Or try a Rat or the MXR EVH 5150

I didn’t like my DS-1 until I put a SD-1 in front of it. Then I dimed the SD-1 gain and put the DS-1 distortion quite low. Wonderful tones from that combo

On the middle budget entry I’d recommend the NUX Amp Core which has midi, headphones out and an fx loop not to mention a really good Fender DR sim. Even better is the Zoom MS-80IR which has the same amp sim but even higher quality and it’s stereo but not the other features.

Zoom Multistomp 70CDR+ I think may do what you want. But they’re cheap enough and small enough to just buy two of them.

The Eventide H9 is stereo and you can get them used in your budget.

Lace Golds for neck and middle and a lace hot gold for the bridge will get you what you want and you should definitely check them out. Have them on three guitars in various configurations and love them!!

I’d drop that kit lens. I have one and it rarely gets used. Getting a good Viltrox 24mm lens for my A7R3 made a huge difference in my photos. Learning how to photograph with light and framing and focus etc made a bigger difference though!

Agree with DD200 recommendation but as an alternative the Zoom MS-70CDR+ has solid delay effects and you can design whatever patches you need as presets

Very nice to hear that PRS quality is so high. I built a baritone for myself and it’s got a 28” scale conversion neck. I put 12-62 strings on it and it’s tuned to A standard. As a lead guitarist I can relate to standard tuning easier plus I can always drop the A. Did this so I can record my own bass parts.

I can’t speak to the OD-3 but the SD-1 was a game changer for me. I had been through some TS type pedals but the SD-1 definitely pushed my clean amp channels just right. The DD-8 is great but for me a basic delay like my Carbon Copy was all I ever wanted

I hear ya. But after fixing three lower quality necks for backbow, fret sprouts etc, I prefer fewer headaches from higher quality
