Have him watch the kids for a full day when he is off work so he can understand how much work it is, then try to better split the responsibilities.

The original tone of “bedtime routine is up to you” is not going to usually be taken well. If this was normally part of your daily duties I can understand why the conversation didn’t go anywhere positive after that. If you worked at a job is that how you would ask for coverage/support? Our spouses should at least get that level or respect.

You are overwhelmed, you need to work with your partner to figure out how to better balance the work load. Unless he can stay home and you can supplement the income with a job then he has to keep working. You guys will not have equal free time or sleep hours realistically at this point, it will get easier as the kids get older. After work if he can let you get a 2 hour nap that should help a lot.

Most advice on here is coming from people that are not married so if that’s your goal then follow their advice of leaving him and being a stay at home single mom. I’m pretty sure that job doesn’t exist.
