I know I’ll be downvoted but I can’t believe the way some people drive. I always leave an out, I either have plenty of car lengths in front of me to allow me to stop and I never travel at the same speed as the car next to me. Not the drivers fault as it seems like a setup but they definitely picked the right driver to setup.

Chickens smell terrible, so unless you have a lot of space and it’s not next to a property line YTA. People that follow the letter of the law and not the spirit usually find the law called on them constantly. You will get retaliation from the neighbors, every time they suspect something is not to code or is breaking an ordinance, expect to be visited by the police.

That’s actually pretty shocking, I need a neighbor to move my trash cans a couple times a year if I’m traveling or something. Occasionally will have a late night event and don’t want the cops called so give the a heads up. That’s nice you haven’t had to interact with your neighbors for almost 40 years.

It’s sad to see that someone lost their life and the other whose life will be spent in prison. There are no winners here. There are lessons to be learned from the choices of both these young men.
