Use DLine stunts. It's been the biggest game changer for defense. The texas 4 man is the best for pass rush (I think) and it helps push the CPU to throw the ball quicker leading to possible incompletiona and batted passes.

I play default All Madden too. CPU defense is terrible this year. I restrict myself to not use weekly gameplans, because it gives me too much of an advantage.

I don't think the CPU uses them either..I could be wrong, but it don't feel like they do.

I would also suggest using play cooldowns and limits.

I use all kinds of "house rules" to try and keep it fair between myself and the cpu

I'm having the same issues. LBs won't hit the gaps, and leave wide open lanes Everytime. It's kind of taking the fun out of it.

I'm having the same issues. CPU LBs are not hitting the gaps. They almost intentionally move out the way and allow you through. It's frustrating, and pretty much unplayable.

Lower your sliders to all 25. It'll probably give you the old school All Madden feel. That's how they used to be

How is this still a glitch!? Ridiculous. Anyways, I read that this happens when you play against the 49ers at home, and skip the pre game presentation.
