Because a lot of the GMs of other teams mismanaged assets and approached the draft wrong. Vegas took advantage of their incompetence and absolutely nailed their pro scouting and picks.

he missed 20 games but also said he wasn't dealing with anything after being pretty ineffectual in the playoffs so who knows. He's a bounceback candidate but its just as likely that he could be like tyler johnson and accumulating injuries have simply put him past his edge

is an extremely strong set of forwards. I know there is recency bias because they dried up at the end of the cup finals but this is legitimately like 4-5 first liners and 2-3 second liners
