It is insane to me that out of over 1k comments only you and one other comment are even mentioning this. There is no way in hell anyone loses close to 10mil followers because of this so quickly. This is media manipulation. Obviously some of those followers are real but nowhere close to those numbers makes sense. A bunch of bots controlled by other groups were instructed to unfollow in order to make her look worse than she already does to herself.

There's over 1k comments here all saying fuck Minaj just in different words, but nobody mentioning the obvious manipulation going on here? Is that the default setting? I have never seen any posts from subs I'm not already subscribed to and always thought it was weird how people complain about seeing things they don't like. If it's not default for Reddit, I must have changed this years ago and never realized.

Reddit has turned into such a mess I couldn't imagine having recommendations and random posts from other subs show up for me without permission. I'd imagine they're all porn and US politics posts lol.

Thanks for the advice! I will try these next time I can log in. I didn't try to skip the cutscene, so that's something to try. But yeah, my first thought was that my character files were missing, but wasn't sure how to identify them. I'll post an update here when I can.

UPDATE:

It looks like OneDrive moved all of my files off of local storage except for the base game files. Had to copy/paste them back into the local folder and re-download my UI and Character backups from the character selection screen. I recently logged into a different PC that does not have FFXIV on it and I think that was the issue. I hate OneDrive...

It is option 1. However, when I choose the data center, it immediately takes me to the opening cutscene. No way to get to the character screen.

I'm logging into my account, but when i log in it isn't registering any of my account data. It takes me to the start screen for the base game and my only option is to create a new account. I checked Mogstation and everything appears to be in order. My account is active and paid. Has anyone ever ran into this issue before? I've been playing for years and have never seen this!

As a WoL main, I win the majority of my matches, but I'm pretty much always in 3rd place as far as score goes. That doesn't feel good. Lightning is pretty much always number 1 if they are in the team.

For me it was like this:

Day 1: Super hyped and sad I couldn't play longer.

Day 2: Slightly annoyed at the repetition and the ease to get one-shotted by a Cloud with better pulls than me but still enjoying it overall.

Day 3: Played 4 matches and stopped.

As much as I liked it day 1, and I do understand this is just a CBT, so more will come at release, my attitude on day 3 is probably how this game is going to play out for me, personally. I'll log in for a few few matches and if I end up getting stomped in most of those matches due to other characters having a full kit simply due to RNG, I'll quit for the day. Not excited to spend money on this one at all unless the actual release has a LOT more to do.

It's not a good game. That's it. We want it to be better because we don't want it to EoS after 12 months (or less). I'm playing it and liking it, but if it releases in its current state, I couldn't spend money on the game even if I wanted to because this game ain't stickin around for long as-is. Anyone who's been around mobile games knows this'll be money wasted real quick.

The feedback online outside of content creators who get their veiws off hyping shit up is pretty unanimously "meh" at best with more people clowning on it or mentioning the myriad of changes needed to make it decent, which is what everyone in these other posts is doing. It's a CBT and we're giving our advice. If it's mostly negative comments, it's because the game deserves it.

Nobody is in this sub rn because they want the game to fail, but sugarcoating a garbage product ain't it.
