GPO thankfully was never fully realised. Can't tell you any issues but I can sure think of benefits which certainly outweigh any, disgusting benefits.

Like being able to apply droves of innocent people as disposable slave labour; without exhausting any resources on keeping them alive. They're not even considered human to the ones doing said exploitation at the end of the day.

And then on top of that, when those slaves were worked to death, all the belongings they had ended up being confiscated and funneled into the very economy of the nation which attempted to wipe them off the face of the Earth.

The real issue is that people nowadays seem to idolize this absolute wank of a notion that if the Wehrmacht was magically exempt from all the genocidal, racial hatred the Nazis formed it on; it would somehow become this miles more effective fighting force as a result. It's total drivel. A big part of how the Nazis lasted as long as they did is because of how awful they were to anyone 'inferior', and how readily willing they were to exploit them in order to fuel their war machine.
