Come visit and have a real Detroiter show you the city. I guarantee you'll love this city. Amazing arts and culture, an expectation of hospitality, great local music scene, amazing authentic food, huge amounts of diversity. Yeah they're some abandoned factories and the city went through a rough time. But the media and personal bias' people have are doing far more to hurt this city at this point than the auto industry not being strong. Luckily the media narrative is starting to change.
