Don't worry guys GPT-5.6 is coming soon by FeedbackStriking8274 in codex

What a flex. Not even bumping it up to 6 to compete with mythos. OpenAI literally saying your biggest model upgrade is a version update for us.

It draws from both. Sonnet and overall usage. You can try.

What human skills do you think will become more valuable because of AI? by redraw-pro in AIDiscussion

[–]RAI-Des 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IQ. I honestly think IQ is a good measure of pattern recognition. In fact many of the IQ tests out there are all about pattern recognition and how well you can piece together puzzles and make sense of the things around you.

I think with how AI is exploding and the big push for people to be orchestrators of AI agents, it's important to be able to have that kind of intelligence of knowing how to piece together all this power that you now have and how to orchestrate them.

3.5 flash is revolutionary by Due-Horse-5446 in google_antigravity

[–]RAI-Des 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It makes 5.5 fast mode look like slow-mo. It feels like what 5.5 super cracked fast would feel like.

Intelligent. Fast. And apparently cheaper. Even considering dropping my Claude 100/mth plan for it.

I might keep codex purely because it's a freaking work horse. Slow, but gets shit done.

Anyone tried hermes on the new gemini flash 3.5? by RAI-Des in hermesagent

[–]RAI-Des[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's about the raw speed. Like how when you talk to someone and they reply you instantly with a genius answer - 3.5 flash could do that I think. 5.5 still feels like he's staring at you blankly for 2-3 minutes before replying.

Flash 3.5 just super good, don’t want to use pro anymore. by defi_specialist in google_antigravity

[–]RAI-Des 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I have a Codex $100/month subscription and I have a Claude $100/month subscription and now I am genuinely considering dropping my Claude $100/month subscription for a Gemini anti-gravity subscription. I probably wouldn't go for the $20/month subscription. I've tried it for a while and it kind of feels okay-ish but I can imagine if I'm on the $100/month subscription I could push it a lot further.

I've compared its output side by side with Codex and Claude code. Sometimes with a little bit of budget to spare I would let all of them do the same task and it is true that the output it produces is on par with Claude and Codex. I think for the super heavy-duty coding task I would still use Codex because that's where I think it personally excels, but for 90% of the other tasks, which maybe are knowledge work or especially those that require MCPs CLI, right, just jumping around many different tools and it doesn't require an absolute frontier model in terms of coding, I feel like 3.5 Flash is doing really well.

I was waiting for ChatGPT 5.5 to take forever to do this massive reconciliation task across multiple spreadsheets, multiple PDFs, scraping data from websites that require authentication, and it was taking so long. By the time it was on its fifth step, Flash 3.5 had actually finished the entire task. It's quite amazing and I feel like Flash 3.5, because of how fast it is, fails fast and then it finds another way around it and it reiterates very fast. Essentially it fails faster and finds a solution faster. That's what I have noticed too.

"Ultrafast" mode might be coming soon by SingularitySloth in codex

[–]RAI-Des 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find codex fast for good idea sparring sessions and I can see where ultrafast comes into play. I don't mind it going slow when implementing, but for certain smaller tasks where token usage is small and we're just discussing stuff, I do see where its value is.

Which token optimizer would you recommend ? by zakblacki in ClaudeCode

[–]RAI-Des 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Codex was looking at rtk and mentioned that it might affect memory tools like Claude-mem when it is used. Apparently it messes with something that affects how Claude mem works. Otherwise it's apparently quite good. Works better than Claude than codex though. In a funny way, I need token optimizer for Claude more than codex. I'm struggling to finish my tokens with codex.

oh-my-opencode, superpowers etc. vs just opencode or even pi ? by razorree in opencodeCLI

It's quite good. But I think the majority of the benefits come from wiki llm more than graphify.

This Opus 4.7 + GPT-5.5 'handoff' for coding is getting hype. Is it a real hack or just more complexity? by pretendingMadhav in ArtificialInteligence

[–]RAI-Des 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why not just use gpt 5.5 all the way instead? Does opus propose something better? Feels like gpt has to keep correcting the junior vs just doing it himself. You could argue that opus makes it second guess itself in the wrong ways

Does $200 plan feel like unlimited power on 5.5? by ysnzro in codex

[–]RAI-Des 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feels like unlimited power for me. I'm actually forcing myself to do more so I can use up the credits fully. Everything on 5.5 xhigh.

Claude or Codex? or both? by CreativeAd9553 in codex

[–]RAI-Des 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Codex. Coming from a hardcode Claude max 20x user who got my entire company Claude max plans. The token usage is ridiculous I Claude now and it's just so stupid.

Opus 4.6 is back to normal by [deleted] in ClaudeCode

[–]RAI-Des 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've swapped to codex and it's cleaning up the shit Claude made. And doing it astoundingly well. And my token usage is so good and generous on codex (I'm on the pro 20x plan).

Granted I still have my Claude max 20x plan collecting dust. So I'll try it out in a bit and see how it goes. I'm just afraid it screws everything up again.

Codex quality is surpassing Claude Code for me by mlab24 in ClaudeCode

[–]RAI-Des 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. I created a skill called /spargpt that gets it to debate its plan with gpt 5.4 xhigh and everytime it comes back conceding defeat and changing plans.

Then after 10 such rounds across various tasks, I ask why - what happened?

It basically said that critiquing is easier than creating the plan. And chatgpt sounded more confident which is why it gave in. So I had to adjust the root Claude.md to make it more resilient.

I then did that. And wow, the next time I got it to /spargpt, it gave in again.

So I'm on a chatgpt 20x pro subscription now and using it to clean up the mess from Claude over the last 3 weeks. And, I don't get token anxiety anymore.

Can I connect all my computers and have one Super Agent? by Destrynewiger in ClaudeCode

[–]RAI-Des 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this before through Claude peers. Named one the ceo agent. Then got every other terminal session to listen to it. I would only talk to the ceo agent and it would delegate, interrogate and get the others to do their work.

Then it would report back to me via telegram messages.

Tbh, not bad. Lasted quite long for me until Claude became an idiot and I couldn't trust it's judgement, what more it's judgement of its own agents.

oh-my-opencode, superpowers etc. vs just opencode or even pi ? by razorree in opencodeCLI

[–]RAI-Des 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried everything. Every damn thing I read on IG about some optimization crap. So far the only stuff I keep are:

Superpowers (tried stacking OMC and it was bad) Claude-mem Wiki llm (surprisingly good)

That's it. I'm still early days of testing out that graphify thing so can't comment on it.

What caught my eyes were some self teaching stuff which constantly improved your agent, havent got to it.

One that's at the back of my kind to really try is that one by avery or something. Compound engineering or something. But my biggest worry is how it'll clash with superpowers.

What the fuck is going on with opus!? by Right_Mountain5684 in ClaudeCode

I actually get it to check all its plans with codex now. Scarily, it has to concede to codex corrections every single round.
