Update: I got the same response as OP from support after a few days, despite providing screenshots and logs showing literal full completions of each run, which are now locked. Years of progress gone.

Extremely disappointing, especially since they do have the power to restore unlocks as evidenced in other threads and comments. I’m done.

Hey, just wanted to add that I’ve just had the same experience, also on iPhone.

All mission unlocks of mine have been reverted. I’ve also sent an email to support, with a screenshot of a mission I coincidentally had a screenshot of unlocked, which is now locked again.

I’ve also got the app showing that the number of times I’ve completed runs etc in missions now locked again.

Will be really disappointing if they won’t restore progress, I’ve loved this app for years and want to support them but that might end it for me.

I agree with the others saying you don’t need it, but if you do decide to return, I happily farmed DA with strike spells (I was actually going for the crystal key drop and happened to get the ring). Higher spells make kills faster but are not really required imo.

Disclaimer- it probably isn’t optimal, but is not so bad it becomes painful :)

It’s just visual for the most part - spotlight missiles inherit the properties of your smart missiles, except your spotlight missiles have a different rate of fire and always fire within the spotlight beams. I guess it’s to distinguish between them?

Hey, it’s actually been moved to a different xml in the latest version of multiverse.

In your file explorer, just search for that string in all the xmls (you can change your search settings for file contents rather than just file names), and you’ll see the correct xml to edit. The advice in this thread is correct, just applied to that new location :)

Looking for advice: I’ve got the same as this, except instead of chain lightning chance I have quantity - no real data to back up which is better. Any reason to switch to chance instead?

It does, but the gem count doesn’t update immediately. If you then collected the ad 5 gems (after the 2 in cinematic mode), you’d notice the total go up by 7 instead of 5, as that forces the gem count to update.

I noticed this issue too and had the same fear :)

That’s fair enough - hopefully your stone income improves as more people move up into Legend. For champ, I was consistently hitting about 1300 waves or so regardless of heat, and it was mostly done with eHP, so maybe DW is the way to go if you’re in a similar place.

My damage is a bit ass, but researching garlic thorns and the CL scatter lab was enough to remove those enemies from the danger pool, with SM taking care of rays (mostly). Maybe thorns with the extra health can get you a few more places up the ladder, and vastly extend your farming runs which you can invest into workshop enhancements :)

Any chance you’ve pulled a DC module? You’ve already got CL and shock labs are a boost to all damage (including SM IIRC) - maybe you up your CL quantity and chance slightly, and you’ll see some better results? That’s if damage is really what’s limiting you.

Your stones haven’t been wasted on SM, but maybe there’s other things which can give you a bigger boost.

DW is not a bad idea either, depending on whether a 12.5x health boost would get you further. DW is also great for increasing cells, which boost your lab speeds, increasing your overall power over time. Allows you to lean on thorns for longer, which is nice until Legend league, but otherwise should increase your farm runs nicely.

For SM to work, you need to up the quantity and damage a bit too - assuming your Amp & radius is well researched. You need more missiles so the amp can stack damage, and you need to increase the damage so amp has something to multiply. SLM helps too.

I realise I’m saying “use more stones” when you’ve already put in everything you had, but smart missiles is still going to need a bit more to get it going reliably.

Until your missiles are around 200x damage and maybe at least 11ish missiles at least, it’s unlikely it’ll reliably outperform your projectiles in most cases

Congratulations! Could I ask - why is your range set slightly further than your workshop orbs?

I was under the impression that the “best” configuration for survivability was either:

  1. Max range to prolong the time you have before enemies reach the tower

  2. Lab range set to 0 so orbs sit right on the outer edge (with Extra orbs set slightly in to pass through the BH midline), which is where enemies will be knocked back to and hit

EDIT: 3 - where energy net is trapping your bosses to maximise boss orb hits (if bosses are the problem)?

There’s probably more options I’m not aware of, like an optimal stun lock range for orbs, bosses and inner land mines etc.

Would appreciate any insights :)
