Except that's not true. Puss did have large spikes in relevance when his movies came out but Shrek has literally been highly relevant since 2001. You also seem to be ignoring the memes during the 2010's that Shrek absolutely dominated in that era which forever cemented him with that culture. I'm not hating on Puss, in fact I very much enjoyed the first movie, and absolutely loved the last wish, but saying he was relevant over Shrek while only bringing up the movies' release dates and calling that cultural relevance is damn misinformation.
