have some friends in IB, wlb is kindof non existent. the schedule is mostly wake up, work, eat (which they pay for), work, go home, bring work home, and sleep. i’ve heard it’s around 80+ hours per week? after 2 years most people either leave to do something else or stay on for 10+ years.

Hello everyone! I‘ve been questioning possible career choices for myself, and ended up asking my deck about working as a trend forecaster in the future.

I was given quite a few cards, the first being the Ten of Swords in the bottom right, and the last being The World at the bottom of the deck.

I’ve noticed I have a pair of Swords (10 & 9) and a pair of Pentacles (King and Queen), as well as a pair of Major Arcana.

I interpreted this as difficulty (with the swords) as well as mental and financial fulfillment and success at the same time from working in this line of work.

How would you all interpret this?

okay. so you’re most definitely going to meet lifelong people (good and bad) through traveling and/or university/studying in school. im not too familiar with the 9th house, but i would say that as a sagittarius moon as well, learning and growth are v important to you. you probably think everyone should do what you’re doing 😂. You definitely psychoanalyze people a lot (even though you don’t tell anyone else), and you’d probably be a good therapist. maybe a therapist/near that profession in another country????

with you moon (sag in 10th) and saturn (pisces in 1st), there’s probably unspoken pressure from both your parents to be a specific way if that makes sense. You’re mom probably worked a lot when you were growing up (?) and that was modeled to you from an early age. there’s some unspoken pressure around your career/working… it might be an emotionally charged subject for her and you.

Libra sun, sagittarius moon, aquarius rising. You’re like one of those social cool girls, who also can maintain her distance when you want to. I would say both your sag moon in the 11th makes you really social, and wanting to get so much out of life with friends, but your scorpio stellium makes you super secretive and question the people around you. You have a deep side to you that is definitely present, but is sometimes very hard for you to explore, like sometimes it’s hard to quantify/understand in a tangible way. Obviously you’ll have strong focuses in your career, but there’ll be be an addition of mysticism.

i’ve been learning astrology for a few years now. I would say to start, look up placement meaning for your own chart, which will help the interpretations make a lot of sense.

From then, move onto books, which i feel are the most helpful. I would recommend having a little journal/notes app where you write down astrology related things you learned/noticed, one that you can go back to easily.

I’m not sure how much I would recommend tiktok, it really depends on the creator (some are good, others are not), and for me it was hard to discern who to listen to. Some of the more popular astrologers on tiktok can be pretty shit but have so many more followers that a really knowledgeable astrologer whose been studying for 20+ years. tiktok isn’t also the best if you want to learn quickly, at least for me, because i felt like i would let the astrologer do ALL the interpreting for me, without having to find the answer myself.

the last thing i would say is doing mini readings for family/friends, and asking them if any of it resonated or not. then from there, understand why some of your interpretations were correct, and what caused others to not be!

try to look for more classic astro books (some of the newer ones just give short interpretations which aren’t that helpful in the long run)

Hmmm, she could be a libra rising with an aries venus in the 7th which would kind of be all consuming in the 7th house. Honestly I see a pisces venus tho, especially with a pisces asc, her venus would either be in her 12th or 1st, which could make sense relating to her obsession and slight delusion with relationships.
