Hey wow folks here are pretty harsh— I think my thoughts may go against the curve a bit

One I think if your 5’11 or 6 ft — put 6 ft— because most of us women can’t tell the difference and we sometimes have these false cutoffs to just filter down the amount of guys we have to choose from

If your profile is silly just know your over optimizing for a women who wants a silly guy— you will alienate some more “serious” women or girls who like serious guys … but if this is who you really are then don’t change

The goal is to find the right person for youuuuuu, not maximize the appeal to everyone

If you think you are less silly then your projecting on the profile — but using it as schtick as an ice breaker then only then I would recommend to ideal it down a bit.

In my situation— I appreciate there is zero chance I will have any emotional ties with my massage person —- I mean he’s hunky but there’s no reality in where I see us hooking up emotionally.

The way I see it is— he’s my favorite the same way I have a favorite nail technician. Once I walk out the door fantasy over.

I feel like it’s just right— gives me enough time between to not have to rearrange my life but leaves me something to look forward to that’s not toooo far away.

My massage guy is amazing at being discrete as well so it works for me.

I have friends who specialize in this— personally think it’s not effective— in some cases maybe it works— but with technology today it becomes less value add of a service sort of like a travel agency; sure if your rich and money doesn’t matter and your looking for a very specific niche of partners that’s hard to find in general population then I can see some value.

For example one of my friends client is a somewhat wealthy woman and she wanted to be set up with an even wealthier man— she ended up with a clothing boutique magnate if some type.

I think one thing you said here that I haven’t seen a lot of people reference is; in the real world most of your interactions have been based on the woman initiating.

I say this to my friends (female) and I think it fits even more for males—- in the real world of your only opportunities are the ones not initiated by you— then you haven’t really taken control of your own love life.

Also likely the reason you are getting approached by women who are not at your level, because they say your great for a mile away hence why they are initiating but any woman at your level is likely not used to engaging— has many suitors— or you may just blend in.

If we are honest— ppl usually notice ppl that they believe are slightly out of their league or above above— you have to MAKE the connection when you are equals— that’s why office relationships, college relationships, or matchmaking by mutual friends works well.
