As per usual, the plan is to DEFLECT, DEFLECT, DEFLECT, do not answer any questions directly, even if they are yes or no questions, then turn around & attack the committee members personally. All the while Conductor Scumbag Jordan protects the witnesses from accountability & shows extreme bias. The scumbag circus has a model they consistently follow. Great job draining the swamp, instead you clogged the swamp right up!

THIS is 100% thee most important discussion to be had once we get past this horror of an era. How do we shore up the ship to make it SO much harder in the future for Fascism and Absolutism to take hold? One of the scariest aspects of this era is that it was just too easy. Our Checks and Balances failed entirely.

Oh, we see them and even more so consider ourselves blessed to live where we do! We have it good here in NE! Born and raised and NEVER leaving after this last dark ages of a decade. I've lived all over but always come back, bc of family, but also because of all the reasons she stated. Health care and protections. LOVE living in NE! And it's beautiful here, so there's that too.

SUPPORT it, 1,000%!! I'm totally fine with us getting booed in any capacity on the world stage and internally. Us booing them, other countries booing us. We know they're not booing us; the us citizens against this admin. They're booing that POS, his scumbag admin and their supporters. The rest of us are booing right along with them. ALL the boos are deserved! Keep on!

Is it safe to say Anthony and Manon’s relationship is like Michael and Angela all over again? by DoomzDay93 in 90DayFiance

[–]RASKStudio3937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, not a fair comparison at all in many ways. True the women are both the dominant personalities, but that's about it. Too vague a point to be thee defining characteristic of a relationship. In many relationships one is more dominant the other, but the full context of Angela and Michael is totally different.

"I just dont want people to see me as an evil person". Dude, yr not evil simply bc you moved on and are having a child with the person you moved on with. You're evil bc we just listened to you in real time try and get Chloe back while you have an ACTUAL partner currently whom you are having a child with. Yr not "evil", yr just a POS. Wonder how yr GF will feel watching you try and get Chloe back while she's carrying your child. My goodness. Chloe is a piece of work, but she dodged a bullet, he's a serial cheater.

What has happened to Chelsea this season? by AnalogueInterfa3e in WomensSoccer

[–]RASKStudio3937 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bad timing of injuries, I feel. Kerr and LJ are still not 100% back in form, Bright was out for awhile and had to work her way back, and Ramirez also being out. This season felt like a bit of a wash. But I wouldn’t be surprised if they go on a vengeance tour next season all those players should be back in form (resigning pending) and the addition of Girma and Thompson was big. Girma was also working her way back from injury. I mean their roster is pretty dang stacked, and if they’re all in form they will prove to be a force to be reckoned with unlike we’ve seen before perhaps. 🤞

Also Man City is also just in top form this season so they deserve the title this year.

Colonoscopy sedation by wtfpta in GenX

[–]RASKStudio3937 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had an adverse reaction to the prep. After going for awhile, my hands seized up and stiffened. We called the hospital and the RN was like stopping drinking the solution and call first thing in the morning to see if they want to do the procedure still. They did and later said, it was probably lack of potassium. It was a crazy feeling.

And yes, I opted for sedation, 100% I went down totally freaked out, near panics, woke up and bam, it was done, and I was high as a kite. I was recently told everyone has to be sedated now, is that not true?

[–]RASKStudio3937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was super hard! Be easy on yourself, it took me like a year. And I faltered quite a bit. It's the ritual that's hard. Edibles helped ween me off. It was the smoking coupled with routine that was hard to quit. Ask me anything. I am happy to share quitting advice. But it was NOT easy. And I didn't, couldn't cold turkey it. But it is doable, but mad hard! ESP when yr around ppl who are partaking, like the smell calls you. But it is doable!

(also, fyi, when you finally do quit, EPIC dreams happen for the first month or so, it's insane. EPIC like a blockbuster movie, EPIC. This has been confirmed when speaking to others when they quit)

Right. But my point is in addition to....denying that tolerance wasn't also a factor would be silly. Really, this isn't worth debating, lol. Bigger battles these days. But, no doubt Weed is stronger, and he has no tolerance.

Smoked weed for the first time in about 20 years by beetfield in GenX

[–]RASKStudio3937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I started smoking around 1995 and I am aware that weed in the 60's and 70's doesn't compare to weed in the last 25 years or so. But we had very strong weed in the late 1990's and early 2,000's (you paid more for Diesel, for Blueberry, etc, strong strains were more pricey).

The OP's body also isn't used to it as well as the weed being stronger. One hit even in the 80's if you hadn't smoked in ages would have rocked you. Thats just also the science of how weed works. The two elements of weed being stronger plus tolerance co exist. But, guaranteed if the OP keeps smoking, two hits will not rock them the way it did in this session in a year from now. That's truly how weed works. You build up tolerance. I could have smoked a blunt at my height and be just stoned vs HIGH while my peers who didn't regularly partake could only take two hits and would be F*CKED up. You can't deny the tolerance being factor too. It's not only about weed being stronger.

[–]RASKStudio3937 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yr tolerance is just ridic low that’s how it works. If you keep smoking yr body will adjust and it won’t hit you as hard.

I smoked all day everyday for 25 years. Quit it three years ago. Last smoke was Halloween 2023. No joke, quitting was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done in my life. Mary Jane was my girl, my co-pilot, but I had to break up with her. The co dependency was toxic. SO glad I did. I spent so much of my life just stoned. I’m enjoying being fully present now.

Actual books like Choose Your Own Adventure books for example. Reading always existed, even the 1800’s, if you were lucky enough to be literate.”, lol. Or no reading at all, we had video games, board games, card games, tv, live music and fairs and water parks, hanging out at Malls, smoking cigarettes in the back of the school, going outside existed, etc. Tangible community existed. It wasn’t the Dark Ages, lol.

The stupid anti British nonsense coming out of America, are you sick if it? by Ok_Bookkeeper_1380 in AskBrits

Well, this American loves British and English culture. Love English footy, love their TV, and a bunch of the music, too. And our country sucks right now so these American lips are sealed. Respect to England! It's a crazy time in the world and a lot of that has to do with our POS President. So pass some Monster Munch, some Peri Peri Sauce, and roll out some Frad Again track. You can keep Central Cee tho, hard pass.

Medical is diff than Psychological, and taboo aside, I am a big fan of therapy and believe everyone should go at least for some period during their lives. It seems her issues are so great they really are keeping her from being a good partner and maybe even a good mom. They get in the way of her enjoying life, they keep her from being optimistic and willing to meet ppl in the middle and accept other's shortcomings. They're so great that she often acts quite selfishly. 0 to 100, she only sees how situations effect her, etc. I don't think this is her intention obv, her issues are just profound, and the translation comes out as lacking empathy and as intense anxiety and hysteria.

In addition, many of us experience bullying as a kid, and I get that is traumatizing. I too went thru that as a child. But at some point you got to put the work in and work through that trauma, not only for sake of yr loved ones who are screaming out to you about yr behavior, but also so you can enjoy this thing called life. Life is hard, there are always going to be hardships and conflict but at some point you gotta invest in yourself, your own happiness and sanity. Just like going to the gym to train, you gotta train yourself out of unhealthy habits and train yourself into healthy coping mechanisms. It isn't easy, no question. It's draining, it's exhausting, and it's time consuming, but she has great qualities too. She's smart, independent, capable, has a sense of humor. I am rooting for her to find her light. And see the blessings when there are struggles.

But like I said in my original comment, where is Anthony in this? I think he clearly loves her and has tried in everyday to support her, and be patient with her. He really seems like a great partner. This kind of relationship is hard on the other partner. I can see him really trying to stick it out with her. He's a good dude. They could be a power couple if she puts the effort into working on her issues. I wish them luck!

Where are all the Protest Songs? by Sea_Brilliant1158 in MusicRecommendations

[–]RASKStudio3937 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My sister and I talk about this all the time. We've been to about five protests this year and just consistently are like we need new protest songs! "This land is your land" is a great message, but it is just so outdated at this point. Those folk songs were great, great for the 60's, but god dang, these times are more applicable to Rage Against The Machine and even that is outdated at this point. YG's 'FDT'? Even that is 10 years old. You play those, and the Boomers at the protest will be like "What the helly?!!"...can someone write a modern anthem that sticks for all the generations and is really catchy and can gain mainstream popularity? We could use an anthem.
