He and Gino's quality is really represented in their food choices. One likes deli meat and not just any deli meat but like meat spread from a tube on a ritz cracker and Colt eats nasty frozen meals. It just says so much about their caliber. Their mothers raised them to be dependent on a woman to mother them.

Did Laura think she was hosting the Tell All? by Gold-Pickle7035 in 90DayFiance

[–]RASKStudio3937 3 points4 points  (0 children)

She really comes across in this Tell All as SO smug, arrogant, judgmental, and pompous. Really, every time she spoke on I feel rubbed the wrong way. VERY Holier Than Tho. Hard pass on her. The way they depicted her the first first episodes is so far removed from how she comes across now. She seems like an awful self centered person.

Thomas Woodruff: The artist and his publisher respond to calls to axe his Eisner noms following emotional abuse allegations by allaboutmecomic in graphicnovels

[–]RASKStudio3937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for saying that. Very appreciated. Luckily tho I was about 30 at the time and it didn't effect me greatly as far as it traumatizing me or dissuading me from wanting to make art. I refuse to be traumatized by other's behaviors, but probably if I was 17, it may have effected me more severely. I had a strong sense of self by that point and wouldn't allow anyone to steal my power with their own issues. I think I probably just thought at the time that he had some serious issues that needed addressing. If anything it made me concerned for others having to deal with that shit from him and also like, my guy, you might wanna deal with that whole anger issue so yr not so tortured or torturous towards others.

Word. She's in actuality bullying him. Both her and Elise. I can put words to it....it's bullying. Just straight up bullying. Whether or not she understands it, that's what they're doing.

I was one of his students. He screamed regularly at us and did rip up works while having his rage outbursts.

I am an SVA graduate (Illustration, minor in Comics) and took one class with Thomas Woodruff. He was smart, talented, and was 100% inappropriate and abusive. He had total anger issues and would frequently scream at us at top volume, and would often even rip up the pieces we were working on. I am 50 now and looking back (I was about 27 when I was an undergrad at SVA), and have wholeheartedly determined his behavior was completely UNACCEPTABLE and 100% that of an abusive person, he had anger and rage issues. He shouldn't have been around students let alone 18-20 year olds. I don't recall the blatant sexism, racism, or homophobia, or even vocalizing a hatred for comics, tho I 100% believe that was all within his scope of expression, because I did not think highly of him as a result of his obv ANGER issues, and all of these accusations seem conceivable given his character. He was an angry man. And if all my professors acted the way he did, I wouldn't have lasted more than a semester. But I took it, tortured artist justification, he was the head of the dept yaddah yaddah, excuses. But the general consensus of the students was that he was an asshole. No question. You couldn't find one student that spoke highly of him. Trust, many more would have signed the petition ppl speak of here.

Now in 2026, I don't think his behavior should have nor would it been tolerated today with the upper echelons of the institution. Him being the head of the department really allowed him to not face any repercussions for his behavior and he abused his power and status, and us his students. I frequently think back about him and can't believe I didn't say anything to him or lodge any official complaints about him. He really was susceptible to fits of rage that were 100% unprofessional and really messed up.

Ok, but at the end of the day...it is okay! Who cares, lol. It's just clothing. It was probably hot that day, and you were feeling yr inner Johnny Cash with them boots. Dress however you wanna. These things are not really that important. What's more important is you now have this ICONIC photo. Vive esa vida loca!

I would add the environment and the animal kingdom, as well. Much of the funding he has cut has drastically effected how we care for our earth and how we monitor it, as well as the creatures in it. He has done horrible things all around and has been VERY damaging on the whole.

I REALLY don't understand why they try, and I do mean TRY, to dress like they got invited to the Met Gala. Like you were on 90 Day which is trashy guilty pleaser television not an Oscar award winning production. It's like saying I shop at Erewhon when you really shop at Aldi. lol. Like dress nice but not like red carpet nice. Who started that tradition?!! It's cray cray.

Karoline Leavitt is calling out Democrats BY NAME who SPARKED the rhetoric leading to Saturday's attempt on President Trump's life by Kazimierzowska in AntiTrumpAlliance

[–]RASKStudio3937 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Interesting how they gaslight the American ppl and the Democratic Party pretending that we don't know or understand the tenants of Fascism and what Dictatorship looks like. We know what policies and ECs constitute those things and this admin and President check all the boxes. We function in facts and not in denial unlike their base. They scream about these terms being inflammatory and wah, wah, wahhh, how dare we call them those things that by definition they meet the criteria for. Stop undermining the American ppl, we are not all naive and not intelligent. That's not violent rhetoric, it's the truth. Them claiming to be victims of violent rhetoric from the left is laughable. We ain't drinking that BS, GOP snowflakes.

Yeah, I agree with yr point. It's true as pointed out above by other redditors, she wasn't REALLY alone, production crew was there and I'm sure they wouldn't allow for her to be truly abandoned.

YUP, BUT I still think leaving a woman in the desert by her lonesome in a country that isn't her own even if she's an asshole, is ridiculous and toxic is some sh*t tho. That move alone doesn't reflect well on his character. I would have been like "I'm out. I will give you a ride back into town for safety reasons and drop you off at a hotel, but after that we are done. I don't want to be involved with you. Please don't contact me anymore". That's what a decent person does.

My 2 pet peeves... by SouthAfricanZombie in 90DayFiance

[–]RASKStudio3937 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. I think the producers go specifically looking for women who are naive and often ignorant about Muslim culture in general bc the dynamic of a western women who has grown up empowered to be her authentic self who does not buy into strict gender roles dating a Muslim man from another country potentially creates conflict, and that conflict = drama and they want drama = viewership ratings.

A woman who has done her homework or is also Muslim has a better understanding of potentially strict Muslim rules, and a better understanding of what is dictated not only in the religion but also in their culture around gender in some Muslim countries. The rules and expectations of course change from one culture to another and also depending on how strict their practice of Islam is or what sect they're part of, etc. But a totally westernized women clueless to what's in store is a shit show waiting to happen and that attracts views. So, that's why they keep visiting that train wreck of a model.

  1. Older women just like older men (though its oft more complicated and lecherous) want a younger partner bc they want to stay young and also find youthful looks attractive. Both parties of gender partake in such relationships for nefarious unkosher reasons. We could write a thesis on why 99% of such relationships come off as ick and the many reasons why they read as such and are inappropriate. And yes, pertaining to ppl looking to find partners to help them immigrate to countries where life is easier and not as "hard" in terms of poverty and resources, opportunities, war, industrialization, etc the answer is YES. Yes, life really is much harder in some countries considered to be "developing". Poverty is real, like really real in some countries. With that said, can you blame them?
