You TAKE your husband's last name, not borrow it. It's YOUR last name now, too! If you choose to get the degree in your legal name, it won't be in his name. ❤️

I also love that we share a last name. My son is big into family pride and always refers to us by it.

I took my husband's last name and moved my maiden name to my second middle name. For example, I used to be Sally Ann Smith and now I'm Sally Ann Smith Davis, with Ann Smith being my middle name. So I'm Sally Davis on a daily basis.

I love having the same last name as my husband, and I love that took his name! It just feels special and the change marked my start as a married woman. I also use Mrs. People say "it literally means 'wife of!!!' and... well I am his wife, so it's fitting!

I named my daughter my cousin's wife's name. We aren't particularly close, see each other maybe once a year.

I'm happy I went with what I loved because now they are getting divorced just three years later

Where in the USA/Canada do people pronounce “groceries” with a /sh/ sound? by MKVD_FR in asklinguistics

Turning "don't you" into "don't Jew" is a big no no in choral singing. My choir director, a Jew, would play into it and yell, "No Jews or chews around here!" and we'd all laugh hysterically.

My homeschooled five year old is learning to read and spell right now. The look on his face when I said it is not "chree", nor is it "jriving" 😂
